章 1: New Beginning
"Where am I?"
"Did I finally leave that damned place?"
As he pondered the events leading to his awakening in this unfamiliar room, Shin suddenly clutched his head, groaning in pain as memories eluded him and questions lingered unanswered.
Flooded with his predecessor's memories, he nearly fainted but stayed awake by clenching his teeth.
After looking through all the memories of his predecessor that flooded his mind, he realized he had taken over Shin Luppiter's body and was now on the planet Strevovis.
He is now Shin Luppiter the only child of Duke Zoran Luppiter in the Masvalter empire.
After sifting through his memories, he saw almost transparent blue screens appear in his vision.

As Shin saw the blue screens appear before him, he wasn't surprised; instead, he examined his new status with a raised eyebrow.
"So, after reincarnating, I gained multiple new bloodlines and many new Bloodline skills," Shin thought, as someone entered the room.
She was a beautiful girl with long green hair in a ponytail, purple eyes, and a good figure. Her classic maid outfit accentuated her curves even more.
"Laura, how long was I unconscious for?" Shin asked while still lying down.
Laura turned around with record speed and dashed towards Shin's bed.
"Young Master, did u finally wake up?" She asked while anxiously trembling.
Shin looked at her with a bit of a dazed expression on his face, he was confused for a while but then realized why she was so shocked, he had been unconscious for an unknown amount of time.
"Yes, can you go and get my parents Laura?"
"Yes young master, I will be right back with the Duke and Madam." She said while leaving the room.

Beep beep beep "Hey wake up!" Said a man dressed in priest clothes while he tried to wake up his companion who was sleeping on the sofa by tapping him on the face.
The man sleeping on the sofa looked around groggily after being woken up so abruptly "Why did you wake me up like that?"
"The artifact beeped 3 times you know what that means right?"
"Really, why didn't you wake me up earlier? I don't want to get beaten to death for reporting this too late!" the man on the sofa exclaimed, abruptly tumbling off and landing on the floor with a thud.
After quickly getting up and sending the message that the artifact finally made noise they awaited an answer from the higher-ups of the cult.

A man and a woman hurriedly entered Shin's room.
The man wearing a suit had sharp facial features with blue eyes and short blue hair, he looked to be in his late 30s.
The woman who entered right after him was a beautiful woman who looked no older than 25 with long golden hair and bright yellow eyes wearing a black cocktail dress.
"He really did wake up dear, and just in time for his awakening ceremony." the woman Deborah Luppiter exclaimed with a big smile.
"Yes, this is a blessing from the gods I don't know what would have happened had he not woken up before his 16th birthday." the man Zoran Luppiter said looking relieved as if a huge burden had been lifted from his shoulders.
"So tomorrow is my awakening ceremony?" Shin asked in disbelief.
This meant he should have been unconscious for a little over half a year as he was wondering how he even became comatose in the first place.
It was as if his parents could read his mind because they asked him if he could remember anything right before he became comatose just as he was thinking about it.
"Do you remember what happened before you fell unconscious?" Zoran asked with flames burning in his eyes.
Shin carefully sifted through his memories, hoping to uncover any trace of the moments leading up to his unconsciousness, yet his efforts yielded no recollection or clues regarding the incident.
Shin then nodded negatively after not finding anything of value.
"That was to be expected but at least we tried," Zoran said while holding his temples.
After thinking about it some more Zoran decided to let it be as he could do nothing about it for now, had some ideas as to why his son was attacked but had no idea who did it or why they would want to stop that.
"Well let us just forget about it for now, we have more important things to do for example the awakening ceremony tomorrow and after that, you need to go to the capital to meet your fiancee," said Deborah.
After a hearty meal and a long discussion about how Shin was going to travel to the capital, they decided to call it a day and all went to sleep.

Shin awoke to the sound of a carriage drawn by two majestic creatures resembling a blend of deer and horse, their coats shimmering silver in the morning light. Each creature bore two heads crowned with enormous golden antlers, a sight both awe-inspiring and surreal.
