Evan was once again surprised at Diana. How easily they all lie. How they did not need to struggle with their consciences. How she fights with her inner thoughts when she plans something against them, how it took her hours to sleep feeling awful when she lies. But for them, it comes so naturally as if it was part of their lives from the start.
She felt his hands on her back again and sigh. How she felt he desired her but now she knew, he was only guiding her in their act. That made her wonder.. No, that was not the time to wonder. She was standing among the crowd for a show.
