It didn't take long for the blonde woman to do what Elder Charle had ordered her.

She grabbed the left collar of my sweater and pulled it sideways, exposing my collarbone.

“Hah! This is the evidence! She has no mark! They are lying to us! Alpha Maximillian is lying to us. This she-wolf really is just a shameless whore greedy for power!” the blonde said mockingly in a loud voice.

I rolled my eyes at her and shrugged.

“You haven't checked my other neck,” I told her casually.

Max had drawn the mark on my right neck, on the spot where, coincidentally, I was the most sensitive.

My toes would curl whenever he touched or kissed it because of the pleasure. Even thinking about him kissing that spot made my toes nearly curl.

“You are thinking of having sex with him even at a time like this,” Iris snickered.
