If Lexi knew a way to awaken Rhett, she might also know a way to recover Hayden’s memory.

Before Lexi could answer, I heard the bathroom door being opened, and I turned to see the sight of Hayden deliciously naked with a towel wrapped around his hips, and his hands were drying his hair with another towel.

I had to curb my urge to jump him because this wasn't the time to do it yet.

There was still a most important to do - to awaken Rhett.

“Hayden,” I called him excitedly and patted the space on the bed beside me. “Lexi might know how to awaken your wolf!”

He stopped drying his hair and went to sit on the bed.

“Lexi… Your wolf?” he asked.

I nodded repeatedly in excitement.

He smiled faintly and said, “We can talk about it after you take a shower.”

“I can take a shower later after we try to awaken Rhett,” I told him. “Awakening your wolf is more important.”

“No,” he rejected my idea firmly. “Go and take a shower first, Lottie.”
