章 65: Metrics

Marie's POV 

I laid on my back while staring at the ceiling.

"What's on your mind?." Lily asked me.

I was about to talk when i chocked on my words, the sound of a baby crying hit my ear in a harsh manner. I jerked off the bed and rushed towards the bedroom entrance, my hands moved fast in the air and I instantly grabbe on the bedroom door knob.

I flung the door open as I dashed through the hallways of the house, my bedroom was opposite my baby girls room but for some reason it felt like I was running in a dark void and an never ending marathon.

At the final arrival of the house I saw my baby's room door open. 

"Where is she?!." I yelled out.

I felt a cold palm placed on my shoulders, I turned quickly and the look on the man's face that stood behind me scared me.

"You?." I yelled.
