章 557: Thunder Sword

Having heard Xu Feng's monologue and explanation, Clara took at least 5 minutes to ponder silently. 

Although it was just a simple explanation, it wasn't simple anymore when it came from her savior's mouth. 

After all, in terms of therapy, nothing was more effective to a patient than having them talk with their savior— aka the person they could trust. 

Think of it as a firefighter rescuing a little girl in the sea of flames. By the time the little girl regained her consciousness, the first person they would trust was not their parents, but rather the firefighter who rescued them from danger. 

This was a common outcome, considering the little girl had developed a reliance on the firefighter, only believing them to be capable of protecting her from danger. 

And right now, Xu Feng was acting as the firefighter whereas Clara was the little girl, who simply needed his protection.
