Assistant Ling said, "Miss. Cai. I believe that you would have sent the right invites. We had worked very meticulously together, after all."

Mr. Lang fumed. "I cannot believe that you are readily trusting her so much. She just recently joined last week, right? She is not as experienced as Assistant Ling so isn't it plausible that she made a rookie mistake?"

Zixin's gaze darkened further and his fists clenched. "They are my assistants."

He suddenly spoke in his quiet voice that pounded the pressure in the atmosphere. "I trust in their capabilities. So before everybody starts firing off their missiles, I suggest you calm down and civilly figure out what happened."
