章 42: CHAPTER 42: ONE YEAR LATER
One year has passed since the day I have met with the Otsutsuki God. Within this year I was not contacted by him again or did any major significant threat occured. Currently I was reading a document on my desk that out laid the progress of our shinobis.
There were currently 7 S class shinobis from each of the major shinobi village give or take a few from different places. My own commanders have grown tremendously in strength. Seven months ago I had transplanted a pair of Rinnegan on Hashirama after he completed his training in sage jutsu and his wood release. Mito has become quite proficient in using the Kokugan( Isshiki's eye) and the rinnegan. Kushina has completed sage training and with the help of Kurama is able to fight on a different level. Seriously, uzumaki physique and chakra pool mixed with the hosting the strongest biju, a perfect sage and to top it off very proficient in using the rinnegan. She is more terrifying than Hashirama all things considered. Next is Odin. Surprisingly when I evolved into the EX+ rank he too evolved with me. The current Odin is the one when he was at his peak. Hela has also devolved deep into her power of death and has gained new strength. If I were to give her a class it would be high SS+ to low SSS. Enough to take on the upcoming challenges.
So in total there are about 30-35 high S+ class shinobis and 10 borderline SS+ to low SSS class shinobis and the around 7 SSS+ class shinobis. those would include Kaguya, Hashirama, Madara, Mito, Kushina, Odin, and Minato. Although Short of what I would need to go head to head with the Otsutsuki clan this would be enough if we they really have to fight.
Although that God guy said that he was a reincarnated person I don't fully trust him yet. I was thinking of what I should have for dinner when suddenly a familiar feeling grabbed me. I was floating. Turning around I saw the one who I guessed it was.
" Ubuyashiki." I said in a plain voice.
" Lucifer." he replied.
" Have you done what you said you would?" I asked.
" I have. There are only 12 Otsutsuki from the royal bloodline left. The rest have been dealt with. I am unable to Kill the remaining because Shibai is interfering with my summoning. " he replied.
" I see. When should I begin?"
" As fast as you can actually. Wasting any more time is not advisable." he said.
I nodded my head and he spoke up again." Do you wish to bring your underlings along in this fight?"
" No. I can take care of this alone."
" Very well" he said and opened up a portal. " Pass through this and you will be transported to the planet where the otsutsuki's are currently."
Narrowing my eyes I walked through the portal and as soon as I did the portal snapped shut. Currently I was floating in space looking down on a planet the size of the earth's moon.
" No time to waste I guess." opening up my palm I conjured my nuclear release. It took the shape of a ball first and started to grow in size. When it reached the size of a two storied building I pushed it towards the planet.
Surprisingly It did not detonate as I could sense a figure approaching it and absorbing the jutsu. When he finished doing it I could see who it was. " Shibai Otsutsuki. A pleasure to meet you."
Shibai looked at me as if he was seeing some lesser being. " I don't know nor care for who you are. Buy since you have dared to attack my planet, you will feel the wrath of a god."
" Bold words for a soon to be dying man" I said and it seems that it did not even even phase Shibai at being Insulted. ' So he is not going to fall for that.'
Suddenly I moved out of the way and just in time because there was an Otsutsuki man standing there with an energy sword in his hand. Spreading my senses I sensed around atleast 20 members surrounding me. ' Huh! what is going on? Didn't the guy say there were only 12 left? Whatever I will deal with him after I deal with these guys.'
Using my speed I dropped from space and landed on the planet. I did not have to wait long before all of the other otsutsukis landed encircling me.
'Hmm. 20 in total. Form the feel of their chakra, they are the royal bloodline holders. what the hell.'
" Huh! So an insect has come looking for death." one of them said in a mocking tone.
'Insect! Fuck you.' I roared in my mind but did not show it on my face. " Do the word limit of you otsutsuki's end at only God and Insect? The previous four I killed also said the same things before being killed by me." This statement managed to piss a few of them off and the previous one who attacked me with the sword rushed at me. " You dare to mock us. Die Scum"
Smirking I summoned Ryujinn Jakka in my hand. Engulfing the sword in flames I slashed forward setting off a sea of flames. the guy jumped upwards to dodge the flames and that was what I was waiting for. Appearing behind the guy in an instant I cleaved him straight from the middle. The two pieces of his body fell back on the ground.
"One Down." I said. But surprisingly none of the others looked concerned. Looking back at the man I just cut down I saw him regenerating from his wounds. The son of a bitch regenerated his entire lower half without a single scratch. Seeing this the other Otsutsukis smirked at me and said, " You really think a mere bug lie you can kill Gods like us?"
I did not reply but just smirked. Looking at the sword dude I raised my hands towards him and did an anti clock wise motion with my hands. The man who had just finished regenerating froze as is grasped by a giant hand. Time seemed to reverse around him as his lower body started to vanish and disappear. When he was again in his half body state a purple jelly like substance surrounded him and covered him from all direction. closing my hand to form a fist the jelly started to shrink until it vanished from sight.
< PURE ROYAL BLOOD OTSUTSUKI FOUND. DOES THE HOST WANT TO ASSIMILATE IT>

looking back at the wide eyed creatures before me I said in an arrogant voice, " What was that about killing Gods?"
Before they could respond Shibai spoke up." you are not as simple as you seem. Do not let down your guards men. Attack him with all your might."
And so they did. Three of them rushed at me with their fist clenched. The first one to reach me extended his arms for a punch aimed at my chest. I looked straight at the man and turned on my Rinnegan. The man looked shocked at the sight of a rinnegan in the eyes of his oppoenent and I used that momentary distraction in my favour. Lifting my hand I used it to parry the man's incoming punch and used the same hand to grab onto his face. Nor giving him time to react I used the Preta path and yanked out the soul of the Otsutsuki man. The other two paused. Confusion and Disbelief written all over their face seeing a human with a rinnagan. I used Beelzebuth to devour the soul I yanked out and looked at the other two.
" How do you possess the rinnegan?" " Impossible" " What!!" a few of the clan members spoke out. Using this momentum I unleashed my Conquerer's Haki.
The whether started to change and the sky took on a red hue. Lightning bolts dropped from the sky at random destroying the terrain and the nearby mountains. The Otsutsukis were pinned down in their spot and could not move. Just as I was going to make a move another spiritual pressure shot up and countered my haki. Shibai Otsutsiki was looking straight at me. All mockery and ridicule gone from his face. " Interesting. To Think that you have such power. You are an opponent worthy of facing me. Worthy of being killed by me. " Not wasting time he appeared right in front of me and kicked me in the stomach. the kick however did not connect as I used Kamui to phase through the attack and pass through him. Looking at the remaining Clan members I decided to take care of them first before taking on Shibai. So without wasting time I created 20 shadow clones to take on the remaining Otsutsukis.
Shibai looked at me and smirked." Do you think that I will let you fight the rest of them? I am your opponent. " For the first time Shibai flared his chakra and it was massive. In sheer chakra capacity he has more chakra than me. During this he had also activated his eyes. A Rinnegan, A Jougan and a Kokugan. " Come at me Human. I shall give you the honour of being killed by me."
With this declaration he started to move towards. He was fast. Way to fast than what I expected. He covered the distance of at least a hundred meters in the blink of an eye. He was already in front of me before I could even lift my hands or activate kamui. He punched me in the face square and send me flying. Appearing midair above me he clasped his hands together and hit me in the stomach shooting me towards the ground. but that was not all. The force at which he hit me created a massive air column which pinned me to the ground. The pressure lasted for nearly five minutes before it ended. Just as soon as it ended I vanished from the spot as it burst open with multiple black chakra rods embedding themselves on the ground.
'Troublesome' was the only thought going through my head. I have faced many opponents but never have I been beaten to the ground this easily. Shibai was floating in the air looking down at me. " Is that all you got human?" He said smirking.
"Not at all." I replied and then burst into smoke.
" What!! It was one of the clones!" Shibai said disbelieving what he was seeing. Looking back at where the other members were fighting the clones he saw that out of the 20 royals only two remained. The reset have been already killed. Anger flooded his being before he rushed towards the battlefield intending to end it all.
Meanwhile I had finished killing and devouring the otsutsukis with only two remaining. The battle ended quite quickly as even though they were strong the previous blast of Haki had affected them to their very souls. Before they could regain focus and counterattack I took the opportunity to end them in a single strike. Only two of them were quick enough to dodge in time and save their lives. Suddenly a memory popped in my head and I looked at the direction where Shibai was fighting my clone. ' That was quick'. I could see the outline of a person who was flying towards me at tremendous speed picking up a storm in his movement.
Looking at the two otsutsuki members I decided to let my monsters kill them as I have to deal with Shibai this time. "Arise" was the simple command I gave before my shadow monsters emerged from my shadow and began attacking them. Godzilla, Gidorah, Mothra and Rodan. Than is enough firepower to take them out. But just to be careful I summoned Odin too for extra support. Odin was the only one of my commanders who always stayed in my shadow and could be called in an instant.
Seeing the incoming attack from Shibai I prepared myself for the upcoming battle. It took Shibai a few seconds to reach me and punch forward. This time I did not use kamui but deflected his arm using my hand and kneed him in the stomach. Shibai did not waste time and used his right leg to kick towards my head. Blocking the kick with my hand i grabbed onto his leg and spun him in a circle and threw him back. Flipping in the air the man landed on his feet and was infront of me again in an instant. This time he produced a black rod in his left hand and pushed it towards me. Not wanting to touch the rod I called out, " Shinra tensei". The powerful gravitational force lifted shibai off the ground and pushed him back to a distance.
" Good, Good. very good. Entertain me more." He said activating his Karma mark. Two crooked horns grew out of his head and his chakra skyrocketed. " Let's see if you can survive this." He said with a maniacal grin on his face.
Seeing him activating his Karma, I too decided to be a little more serious. I Activated my sage mode and the power boost. The aura that emerged from me made even Shibai take a step back. Looking at me he narrowed his eyes before with a flick of his hand generated a thunderstorm and sent it towards me. At first I thought of absorbing the storm with my rinnegan but then I noticed it. This storm did not have chakra. that means this a natural storm that he conjured. Thus making the rinnegans ability useless. ' Shinjutsu ' So this is the fabled shinjutsu. Lifting my hands I used my space manipulation powers to freeze the space in front of me and destroy the storm.
Seeing his attack fail Shibai decided to continue to press on as he started to throw all the elements towards me. There was no space to escape as the elements covered a lot of area. I could use Kamui but decided against it. Smirking I reached for my sword and slashed towards the oncoming hurricane of elements. " Full counter" I said softly and the five element attack headed back towards Shibai with incredible speed. He did not have time to react as the elements reached him and before he could do anything he was engulfed in a tornado of the five elements. Although it did not affect him much as he spread his hand and the elements separated from him and started floating in the air. only a little bit of his skin was burnt and even it healed at a rapid pace.
The battle went on like this for a few hours. Elements back and forth. He summoned fire and I summon water. He attacks with earth and I destroy it with lightning. We even combined the elements together and attacked each other. After a while of this happening Shibai decided to end things. Using his Kokugan he summoned a moon like piece of earth just above me to bury me under it. I looked up and put my hand in the air, " Beelzebuth" A purple jelly like substance extended from my hand and covered the lower half of the moon starting to absorb it.
Shibai used this exact moment to appear before me and tried to pierce my heart with a black rod. But this is where he miscalculated. A deep black armament haki coated my chest and the rod broke in two as it came in contact. Letting go of Beelzebuth I covered my fist with Haki and punched the Moon. It blasted into pieces and I spun in the air, coating my legs in armament and conqerer's haki I kicked Shibai square in the chest. Shibai flew back and I followed him. What followed next was a simple beatdown. In the end Shibai was laying on the Ground inside a deep crater with me hovering over him.
" How." He chocked out.
" I simply did not use my full strength at the start. If I wanted to I could have killed you at the very beginning." I lied. The battle had lasted for about 13 hours. Even though Shibai was strong he was not facing enemies of the level of other Otsutsukis. If he had he would not have been that exhausted in this battle. I too was exhausted but lucky for me I had time manipulation at my disposal. With that I could return to my peak at any point of time. Shibai had simply started to lax a bit and I exploited to opportunity. If the fight had drawn on more and I did not have the Time manipulation skill I would have been hard pressed to defeat Shibai. But right now, all that did not matter. I wanted this to end as quickly as possible. No need for extra drama.
Looking back at the man I saw the state he was in. His chest had collapsed and both of his legs were gone. His hands were twisted in directions they should not be in and his face was a bloody mess. His regeneration ability although powerful could not catchup and had become quite slow. He was healing but it would take him a lot of time to be completely healed.
"This is the end, Shibai Otsutsuki." I said in a grim voice.
Shibai looked at me for a moment and then spoke, " It was an honour to fight you, Human." For the first time I did not hear the typical Otsutsuki arrogance. He continued to speak" I hope you can conquer the enemies you face with the ease with which you bested me today." He said and closed his eyes. 'I hope that too' I thought and used Beelzebuth to devour his body. Just as I completed devouring his body a voice rang out, " What have you done!!!"
Looking up I saw the Otsutsuki God looking down on the entire planet. He was so huge that only his face was visible from where I was standing.
" I have defeated Shibai just as you asked me to." I replied
" I saw that Mortal. Where is his body?" He shouted at me.
Narrowing my eyes I replied, " His body got destroyed in the battle. It turned to ash and is now everywhere around us."
" What!!" The guy looked horrified.
" What's wrong." I asked already guessing every possible scenario.
" Wrong!!! Everything is wrong. He was supposed to be my vessel. I was supposed to reincarnate again in this world and rule it. Before I was too focused on gaining power and did not have an interest in ruling this world. But I was supposed to rectify my mistake. You have ruined it all."
" So all that talk about being an otherworlder was all fake."
" Of course it was. that was supposed to make you believe in me and you and Shibai were supposed to kill each other."
" Now I understand. You left those Otsutsukis for them to weaken me and be killed before i and Shibai kill each other."
"yes. Although I would have preferred Shibai's body, I will have to make do with yours for now. I don't have much time left. I can only appear in this realm for a few moments in every 1000 years. Damm you for ruining everything. " He moved to attack me and take over my body but I was faster. Using the Fuinjutsu I knew I tried to draw a seal to banish demons and other beings to another dimension. Seeing this He sped up but was a little late to reach me as I had already finished the seal. But before I could rejoice I felt a sudden suction from below and was pulled into another dimension. I could see nothing but pitch black darkness.
