I sat in the room and stared at Dexter through the monitor.

I was aware that he might go berserk and harm himself after being triggered. After all, that was his way of punishing himself.

"You liked Sophia, but she didn't belong to you. She was in love with Damien, so you had no choice but to kill her. Only then would she be yours forever."
