"Yes. So much better," Ferdinand inhaled at her hair and kissed her nape.
[She smells so good. I've been yearning for this scent all day. For this soft body to be in my arms again. For her voice. Her laugh. Her smile. Her eyes. All of it. I want all of her. How can she not miss me at all when I'm so frustrated all day from not seeing her face?]
Ferdinand kept tightening his hug as if trying to make her feel just how much he missed her and let her feel the frustration a bit.
Arabella reveled in it even when it began to hurt since it felt so nice to be held by him so tightly.
"You really didn't miss me at all?" Ferdinand asked again in a sullen voice.
Arabella giggled. Her husband is cute when he's like this. She felt bad making him feel lonely so she decided to admit it.
"I missed you too. I wanted to see you and eat lunch together. But we are both busy. Once we return to Valeria, maybe we can get a day or two of vacation as rest and spend some time together."
