August 26th.
Early morning.
Several people are having an incredibly tasty breakfast. If Tang Qing wasn't also eating, Li Kai and Shen Yi would have suspected that Tang Qing had spiked the food. It was simply too extraordinary.
The television in the living room was broadcasting a series of special reports about the 'Huaxia Little Angels Charity Foundation.' The excitement was palpable, even on a repeat broadcast.
"Who do you think it is? So wealthy. Donating billions again today. It seems like someone's pulling the strings," Li Kai said, glancing at the TV while stuffing his mouth with food.
"I have a feeling there will be more donations coming," Shen Yi ruminated, finding the situation quite peculiar. It must be orchestrated—over ten billion RMB donated every day for three days straight—but the purpose was unclear.
"How is it possible? Even overseas Chinese can't be that rich, and all donations are anonymous," Li Kai wondered.
