Meanwhile, at the Lava Titan's Lair, Lucian, Cecily, and Morgan were the only survivors left in facing the tyrant. All the other warriors were either dead, out of mana, or had fled from the battle.

The group was gripped with exhaustion, but still, the Lava Titan remained standing, continued to be reinforced, and rejuvenated by the lavas and rocks from its surrounding.

Jules and Blight had long exhausted their mana, and the only thing keeping them alive was because Cecily and Morgan were protecting them while Lucian kept the Lava Titan occupied all by himself.

They were amazed at Lucian and admired him for his strength as he alone kept the Lava Titan in lock combat. His heroic deed and combat prowess were giving them hope.

However . . . how long could he keep that up? He was a mortal too. A human with limitations, and it would only be a matter of time before he succumbed to his limits.

What they were doing was just prolonging the inevitable.
