章 163: Eliciting soft moans

After gently setting Layla down on her feet, Lucius turned to close the door behind them. She headed straight to the washroom, grabbing her toothbrush. Moments later, Lucius followed, taking his place beside her at the sink and picked up his own toothbrush.

As they brushed in silence, their eyes met in the mirror. Layla felt a spark run through her as Lucius's intense gaze seemed to pierce right through her. Her cheeks warmed, and she quickly rinsed her mouth. "You finish up," she said softly, breaking the moment and slipping out of the washroom.

When Lucius stepped into the bedroom moments later and his breath caught in his throat. Layla stood in front of the dresser, her reflection framed by the soft glow of the bedside lamp. She wore a delicate satin nightgown that clung to her figure, its fabric shimmering slightly with her every movement.

"Layla," Lucius said, his voice low, "what are you trying to do?"
