"The land goes to Mr. Lucius De Salvo!"

A huge round of applause was heard. Lucius stood up from his place and smiled at everyone. Shortly, everyone started leaving, including Roderick.

"Won't you congratulate me, Rick?" Lucius asked, tilting his head.

"I was supposed to win this bid. Why did you even come here? It was my Dad's dream project and you snatched it from me, Uncle," Roderick said with annoyed glance.

"My dear nephew," Lucius spoke and rose to his feet. Roger too stood up while glaring at Roderick. "I can give it to you. But I want something in return," Lucius added.

"What does uncle want?" Roderick frowned.

Lucius leaned closer to his ear and whispered something. It caused Roderick's expressions to change. "You can think about it. You've a day," Lucius offered. He then turned away and walked out of the hall, followed by Roger.
