章 404: Formally Engaged

Lukas dressed up meticulously today, which was not his usual style. Normally he would just pair his black fitted trousers with a white or black shirt interchangeably, something light and easy to move in. But now, he's in a suit, which just goes to show how important this talk is to him.

"I will take good care of her."

He had already said his piece about marrying Nadia and now he was making a promise to the marquis. A promise that he never imagined he would ever say in his life. Not even he knows that he would marry someone someday, willingly at that. He always thought he would be alone forever, rotting and hating the world. 

Nothing much changed. He still kinda hates the world, but he sure is not alone now.

Leon stared at the man in front of him, gauging his expression and everything. 

"Well… are you really serious about my daughter?"
