The fire was hot. I admit, considering that single thought the apex of all thoughts on obviousness, Captain Obvious would probably name me his trustworthy sidekick 'Sarcastic Statement'. I didn't really think about that though, because all things said, fire was hot as I said once before above, and I was in that devastating heat trudging along on with my new tiny, child-like limbs. One moment I was fixing some game at work, and the next second I suddenly found myself avoiding a falling building's debris that came crashing down a few steps away from me, lifting me off the ground and sending me to crash against a molten slab of iron that was scorching hot to the touch.
Looking around, I can only describe what I see as, Hell On Earth[H̸̬͇͕̄e̵̹̪̱̾͗͝a̸̰̼̓̓̈́v̷͙̄̉̔̃́e̵̼̩͋̓͗̚n̶̨̩̠̫͇̽͌̕͝ ̶̢͈̹̟̣̐͐̈́O̸̳͘ń̶̳͎̪̺̰̓ ̵̨̳͖̳̤̄̕̕Ë̵̡̬͎̲̕͝a̴̼͙̬̐r̵͖͌̉͊̿t̴̡̛̫̹̦͂͂̈́͋h̵͓̟̥͙͙͆̐]. Truly, I myself am marveled at the slight of this terrible[A̸̱̻̐̾̋m̸̲͛͂͜a̷̡̮̮̎̀̌̋͐ź̷̡̠̯̺̫̔̓͒ị̶̡̦̮̗̃͂̓͊n̷̹͛̑ǵ̴̮̹̻̍] disaster. Fire was everywhere. It was a war zone. The entire city was burning, and there seemed to be no sign of life anywhere with nothing but ruins of buildings with raging fire everywhere and light rain falling making it seem the earth is crying in sadness and grief.
*Hiss!*
Suddenly feeling even more pain, my fingers clutched the dirt, with burned air, leaving my smoking clothes. Dirty-looking crimson blood slowly slithered across, pulsing with the energy of a thousand and more curses, lingering on the earth with the desire to consume.
I had to get away. I really need to get away from here, from wherever this place is! I must Survivor all cost, no matter this otherworldly situation I found myself In!
With these thoughts occupying my mind, I started running without looking back, wincing now and then, because of the unbearable pain assaulting my body.
The screams were ignored. Everything that was not my feet was ignored. It was erased from existence. It was denied by my mind. Because the only thing that inhabiting Inside my mind is to, [Survive]! Everything else is insignificant to Me.
I just wanted to survive. I would have been fine with surviving, not even living. I would have happily agreed to a life of pain, just as long as it meant I'd still live at the end of the day.
The screams finally died out, or maybe my ears grew so accustomed to them that I could no longer hear the sound of the dying -the dead do not scream, after all, they are always silent.
Deep down, I knew that not feeling fatigue meant I was a step away from falling down, never to stand back up. However, I had to move. If I remained there, the smoke, the blood, the fire or something else would kill me.
In the end, it was only selfishness. I desired to live, I wanted to live, I demanded to live and, in the end, I will live, even If I have to crawl at this damned place like some sort of Xenomorph!
Even if just for one more step, even if just for one more quick breath, one more heartbeat, one more blinking of tired eyes with a blurred vision, I still hung on to that tiny filament of life that refused to whimper out in the night.
Abruptly hearing a voice, I looked over seeing a girl with short auburn hair and golden-brown colored eyes, wearing some sort of winter get-up, trapped under a lot of rubble, looking Into my silver-colored eyes pleadingly.
Fucking hell, one act of goodwill wouldn't hurt to do. Hey, who knows, it probably would help my karma. Well, I hope...
Having these thoughts, I ran and started throwing all sorts of little pieces of rubble by me, with heavy breathing.
' Fuck this child body of mine!' I yelled at the unjust to the sky, still tossing pieces of stones by me.
Only after some more hurling and heaving rubble, did I pull out the little girl, and unexpectedly jumped five feet away from a big stone piece, dropping where she was.
" Holy hell, that was terrifying[F̵̡͉͆̀̉̊ͅͅu̶̦̟͆́̋͠n̸̲̯͙̬̈́ͅ]..." I said, as the little girl, literally letched onto my chest, resembling a cute koala, hiding her face inside my chest.
" Welp, let's get a move on" Shivering a little, I started running with the girl still letched onto my chest, somehow, using my oversized black cloak as a mask for smoke for me and the little one.
However, soon as I started running for my life, my vision began getting blurry and my child-like strength, began leaving me. And even more troublesome, the little girl passed out somehow, so I now have to carry her In a princess carry.
' Just fucking Perfect...' I thought, proceeding to fall down, hitting the ground hard, with no strength left in my body. Now looking at the hellish sky on my back, I laughed, Instantly recognize where I'm at.' Fate/Stay Night, huh?'
However, as the heavens heard my words, my ears picked up a hearing a voice, a throaty, clearly male voice," Y-You're alive,"
" Heh, what can I say, even Lucifer's finest is something insignificant to Me..." This was the last thing I could say, before closing my eyes with a smile, therefore losing consciousness.

The man running to them is wearing a black suit and trench coat. His face shows a blank expression with his eyes reflecting a vacant look with tears running down his face spotting the duo on the floor, both down and asleep, barely breathing.
Crouching down and hugging the two children the man seemed so happy. Almost as if he, not them, was the one who'd been saved.
Even on the verge of death, anyone would be was jealous(?) as the man gratefully said," Thank you." over and over again as if, he found his saving grace.
Because by saving even these two children, he'd saved himself.

" Who the hell are you?" I said, finding myself In an endless everlasting crimson void. In front of me, Is a lady with appearance of an otherworldly beautiful Elven Goddess with white jade-like skin and long wavey elegant golden hair and light green sparkling eyes. She wearing a long white and golden robe, falling to the floor, and trilling behind her.
" Aww~ Such a harsh tone, you utter to you're generous benefactor~!" The unknown beauty, said in a teasing manner, as she scanned me with a predatory gaze, I know too well.
" R.O.B?" I said, with a long deep sigh, already kind, knowing where this is going.
" Nope, not quite~" She shook her head, still scanning me, with an oddly large amount of Interest. Kind of creepy[H̴͖̳̠̫̥̎̓o̸̦͎̱͕̾̃ẗ̶̼̣͇̮́̈̚] honestly.
" Jump-chan?" I question, after some thinking.
" Yup~ Ding-Ding-Ding~ We have a Winner~ And your prize? You get to have me, Jump-chan, as your personal guide, through [The Grand Game]~!" She explained, appearing on my right side floating, smiling beautifully.
Hearing this, my mouth twitched, remembering some jump-chains I did out of boredom.
~~
Jump-chan, an incredibly powerful force of existence that can move between worlds of the Multiverse. If so inclined, she could bring other beings along for the ride, dropping them into worlds that could be drastically different from the world they come from.
Such a powerful force, capable of nearly anything she wishes, has only one problem.
Boredom.
So, in one small section of one small world, in one small speck of a universe, which isn't even a speck in the grand scheme of the Multiverse, Jump decided to have some fun.
Thus, was birthed The Grand Game, or GG.
The rules of GG are simple. Get thrown into another world, one of fiction. Your job is simply to make it to the end of the story. Where that end is will vary depending on the story. Maybe it's only a few short hours away, or maybe even ten years will pass before you leave.
Make to The End, and you win whatever you got from that world... Within limits, of course. Then, you move on to another world, where the trouble may get better, or get much, much worse.
Fail, and you get nothing from that world, and the game ends. You retain your previous winnings, but you return to your life as a mortal, changed though it may be by what you have experienced and gained.
Truly, this is the story of one Grand Game, and one's first foray into the great and infinite Multiverse, with Me acting as It's main protagonist, of sorts.

" So what do you say? Would you like to play a game with me?" Jump-chan asked, still smiling beautifully, staring Into my eyes.
" Sure. Sounds fun." I said In a carefree manner, not wanting to back to that 9-to-5 routine of my 'normal life. I was not, nothing special. All I was is a Game Designer for a relatively PC-popular RPG game. I was by better or worse, the bug guy. You find a bug in the game? Fine by me, I fix in no time. Found a Spider under your decks? Tell me, I got my slides ready. So yeah, not the best life to live. Especially my childhood, a Dumpster baby on the roads of New York-Brooklyn, getting into childish crimes to get that so desired attention from people.
" Really~?!" Jump-chan suddenly asked with a surprised expression... Mmm, I wonder why?
" Eh, Yeah." I shrugged my shoulders, with a slight me.
" Yes~!" Smiling even more brighter, Jump-chan's eyes flickered ominously, making me shiver, unknowingly.
However, before I can ask something, I felt my Conscious start leaving me, hitting the ground, laying on something softly and warmly.
Appearing over me, Jump-chan giggled In pleasant delight, watching me close my eyes.
" Night-Night My First Jumper, Have Fun~!" That was the last I heard.
Yet I had one more thought dwelling inside my mind,' Eh? First Jumper...?'
