All the brilliant bright light that had come to dawn on the people of Hatia had failed to penetrate in one of the hidden rooms in Richard's mansion.

A cigarette was placed between two of his fingers on his right while he was admiring his left hand. Though the room was neither too dark or that appealing, he had no plans to leave it.

After some time, he lifted his face to look at his new captive who was bound with chains on an old chair. "Finally, it's just the two of us where I am not worried that someone might come to interrupt us."

Saying that, he lifted the cigarette to his mouth and took a long drug. It took him some few seconds before he finally released the smoke through his nostrils and William looked away due to the smell that reminded him of his own unsatisfied cravings.
