She said then scanned everyone in the room. Her eyes lastly got focused on Richard who looked so proud of her.

Her meek and submissive side was fading away and it was being replaced by assertiveness.

"Alright."

Finally, her father gave in and she beamed with excitement.

"Thank you father." She thanked him. Happy that she got approval from him. If possible, she would have hugged him but that was not allowed.

"Now that all that had been settled, can we talk about what you have just done?"

Her father was intrigued her previous performance and taking a short breath, she started to narrate all that had happened while trying to make her story as short as possible.
