章 7: Chapter 6
"I forfeit!"said Lin Xia loud and clear
The judges, examiners and the whole audience were speechless.
In the history of these battles no one had retreated before and was it even allowed?
Lin Xia left the stage, leaving behind a crowd full of shock faces.
"Number 2 is the winner!"announced the examiner
Lin Xia could careless of what others are currently thinking, if she fights for real that kid would be defeated by her in one move, she did not really care if she will be selected, either way she knows that she can't escape from this organisation unless she becomes stronger.
There were 15 judges, 5 of them were female and the rest of them were male
One by one the judges began to call out names of the kids. Each of the judges selected at most 20 kids.
Some kids were pleasantly surprised even though they did not became the finalists, some judges still chose them.
No one chose Lin Xia, even though she came out top 2.
"The selection is complete."said the examiner
All the kids that were not chosen began to feel uneasy, they knew that they will have to go through an even worse hell than before.
"Stop! I pick this candidate whose face has a scar."said someone
All of them turned and saw that it was a man with a mask on his face, although it covered his face, people could tell by his voice and body that this guy is handsome.
Lin Xia looked at him, and found him familiar.
"What are you doing here?"asked one of the judges
"I'm here to look for candidates as well, so why can't I come here? Master has allowed all of us to choose right."said the man in a mask
Lin Xia did not know why the guy seems familiar, but at the same time not, she can sense that this guy was definitely a weird guy.
"You follow me!"ordered the man in a mask
Lin Xia decided to follow him, she saw him opening a portal and soon they reached another place.
"Who are you? Are you handsome brother relative?"asked Lin Xia
The man in a mask twitch, why the hell is that guy his brother? Why can't he have a sister instead! Seriously so shameless, but I did promise him that I will take care of her.
"Yeah I am his relative, from now on you can call me master, I will be imparting you some cultivation knowledge and techniques."said the man in a mask
Lin Xia felt warm in her heart, her handsome brother actually cared and helped her.
"Oh master, you went to the new selection, isn't it so annoying to go there? Aren't we already enough? Kid what powers do you have?"asked a random guy with a long beard and hair.
"I have all elements affinity."Lin Xia calmly stated
The guy was shocked why the hell would his master recruit a trash in his team! But he didn't question his master judgement after all he did raise all those exceptional killers including him.
He didn't know that his master picked Lin Xia up was not because of her ability but because he wanted to fulfill his brother's wish.
"Lin Xia put your hand in this stone."asked her master
Lin Xia hesitated again but still touch the stone.
The same phenomenon happened all over again, the sky was turning dark, thunders were roaring, and the colours in the stone began to fight with each other and then the stone exploded.
The guy was shocked by such a phenomenon, legend has mentioned that those individuals blessed with immense capabilities will be jealous by the heavens and their cultivation journey will be difficult.
"Lin Xia hit this plate with all your powers don't hold back!"said her master
Lin Xia hit the plate and both of them were shocked! Such a young age she has already reached Martial Master 3 stage.
The guy was annoyed but happy for his master and himself, he got a super weird junior even though her face looks scary she is an odd genius, but he was also jealous! Why was the heavens so unfair?
He would have never thought that his brother had send him an odd genius, he began to think about how she might become a dangerous person. The ability to control all elements and actually being able to breakthrough, made him shiver.
He was indeed lucky, he needs to thank his shameless brother for letting him have a good seedling in his team.
