章 1: Chapter 1
In the darkness of night only the sound of sirens could be heard as cop cars, fire trucks, and ambulances rushed to the scene of a car wreck.
Although the first responders hope to save the people involved the main character has already passed on from the normal world.
Kai: [I've been in this darkness for what feels like a couple of hours. From what I remember I was on my way home after meeting up with some friends at the movies to finally watch Godzilla vs. Kong and as I was driving through the near empty streets I was attacked by the sound of screeching tires followed by a loud crash. I didn't see any headlights so it must've been a drunk driver if I had to guess. I mean, what else could it be?]
Kai: [But that doesn't matter anymore since I'm not waking up after the accident so I'm just going to assume I've died. But now wha-]
???: "Now we move to the next step."
Kai: "Who's there?! And what do you mean by next step?"
God: "I'm the god of your dull and boring world. I'm going to be honest here, your world is arguably the least interesting one I've ever made. Without the occasional war and plague there's almost nothing to enjoy watching."
Kai: "Yeah but you're the one that made it right? So you're the reason for your own boredom, don't blame us for trying to live as peacefully as we can."
God: "Well I guess you've got me there but let's not get off track. You're dead."
Kai: "You don't say. I never would've guess that, thanks for telling me."
God: "No problem. Now since you're dead and I've grown rather bored would you like to reincarnate in a different version of my favorite world?"
Kai: "Would you mind telling me what world it is?"
God: "Sure why not, you humans often refer to it as the 'Monsterverse' but the version you'll be going to will be starting from scratch and the civilization that'll develop later will know of your existence."
Kai: "So I'll be a Titan?! That's so much better than my world already! Thank you!"
God: "Don't read into it so much you happened to be the first person passing through when I got the idea for it in the first place."
Kai: "Ok so what's the next step?"
God: "Choosing which Titan to be of course! There's so many to choose from I can't wait to see what your decision will be."
Kai: "I can choose whatever Titan I want huh?"
God: "Yes, with the exception of Destroyah that would just take all of the fun out of it. Even though Godzilla can win most, if not all 1 on 1 fights, being Destroyah would make it too easy."
Kai: "Ok I think I understand now. And I'm just curious, could you add some other abilities to the other Titans to even the playing field?"
God: "I see where you're coming from. The MUTO's ability is pretty weak against other Titans so I don't see why I shouldn't add a few extra. And don't worry I won't forget the Titan you choose."
Kai: "Cool so I can pick now?"
God: "Go right ahead."
Kai: "Alright. I'd like to be King Ghidorah please."
God: "Oh? That's a pretty good choice in the long run, better than just picking to be Godzilla and expect to rule from the beginning."
Kai: "Yeah, plus Ghidorah is my favorite Titan other than Big G."
God: "Well now that you've made your choice do you have any suggestions as to what your extra power is?"
Kai: "Three requests actually. Two for me one for Godzilla the rest is up to you if that's ok?"
God: "Alright let's hear them."
Kai: "For the first I'd like to have an ability called 'Thunder Tail' where I twist my two tails together while channeling electricity into them so that when I attack with it it'll have the same effect as Mecha Godzilla's Atomic Punches."
God: "Ok that seems understandable now what are your other two requests?"
Kai: "I'd like for you to give Godzilla something for his tail. You can call it 'Atomic Tail' for all I care. Where he just charges up atomic energy in his dorsal spines and has slightly more impact than Mecha Godzilla's Atomic Punch."
God: "While I am somewhat disappointed with your move naming it makes sense since Godzilla uses his tail in a large number of his fights. And what is you final request?"
Kai: "Since this is about to be my life can you make it so I can use my wings to shield myself from some of the damage Godzilla's Nuclear Pulse can do if he ever uses it against me? Since literally nothing can stop it from my knowledge?"
God: "...Fine, but only because it makes it more interesting."
Kai: "Thank you! I'll try my best in my next life. Also, could you tell me the name of this new world?"
God: "Sure I don't see why I shouldn't. The name of the new world is Queillnet. NOW GO!"
What followed next was a blinding light that made me lose focus on my surroundings. As I refocused I could tell I was no longer just a soul so I opened my eyes to take in my new surroundings.
Kai: [It seems like I can see from three different perspectives and still be able to process what I see correctly. So at the very least I won't have to worry about sneak attacks.]
Kai: [A world full of Titans…..I guess I should make myself known.]
The silence and calm of Queillnet was then broken by a roar that resounded throughout the entire world.
SKREEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH
Of all the Titans on Queillnet only two remained unintimidated and answered immediately. One was similar to a giant lizard and had giant dorsal fins on its back and tail while the other was a giant ape.
