Pupa; chrysalis (蛹;蚕蛹) is a novel that is revolving around the two families, the Chen family and the Zhao family. By accident the Zhao's are involved in accident which leaves them in a deep coma and their daughter is brought up by the Chen family. It is a fairly corrupt family full of jealousy. They take all the Zhao's property into their hands and leave Chen Ming Zhu with nothing. This pushes her to take revenge and make them pay for their deeds. She takes back all what belongs to her and also hurts them in the way. Through this revenge, Chen Ming Zhu also gets to know another man, who helped her in taking revenge and that intimate relationship soon bloomed into love.
