章 261: He Is Slippery

Mason was surprised by Stan's statement.

"Why not?" He asked.

"I don't want to leave this to the police, you know he has most of those guys on his payroll, and with the right amount of money, he can bribe his way out of this. It's either we deal with him ourselves or he will wiggle his way out of this crime just like he always does." 

"I understand what you are talking about, but the thing is, I'm close to finding Emily, and Ben is going to lead me to her."

"Wait a minute, Emily, Trevor's sister?" 

"Yes. I just recently found out that he is involved in her disappearance and might know where she is."

"This still doesn't make any sense, why would Ben be involved in Emily's disappearance? What business do they have together?"

Stan finished his drink and poured more for himself before he answered. "You won't believe it if I told you."

"Told me what?"

"Ben Franklin is Emily's biological father."
