章 115: Do You Still Want This?

Trevor had just got back from work when he heard a knock on his front door. He was taking off his tie as he went to check who it was.

Maddie was standing there holding a hamper basket.

They both stood staring at each other. After their fight, and she left his house in anger, Trevor had tried reaching out to her and she kept shutting her out, since then Trevor decided to leave her be. He had enough on his plate already.

"Hi," Maddie managed to say.

For close to weeks since Maddie left his place, she hasn't seen Trevor, and now that she is standing at his door staring at him, she really wished she had not stayed away all this while.

Trevor looks like a shadow of himself. He was looking leaner, the dark circles underneath his eyes told her he hasn't been getting any good sleep. His silky hair which always looked arranged looks disheveled. Seeing him this way broke Maddie's heart, and she felt terrible that she had stayed away this long.
