The twelve Mutant-class fighters descended from the balcony, fanning out to restore order, but unease rippled through their ranks. 

The directive from Corax was clear, but the underlying truth gnawed at each of them — they were being thrown into a fight that was likely unwinnable. 

Their instincts screamed that Alex and Mira were beyond their abilities, yet orders were orders.

"Cowards, turncoats — take them down!" 

One of the twelve barked, rallying the gang members still willing to fight. 

They began suppressing any signs of surrender, their guns and powers lighting up the compound like a war zone. 

But while some Iron Vultures re-joined the fight, others were fleeing the perimeter, no longer willing to face the wrath of Alex and Mira.

On the outskirts, Alex and Mira observed the chaos with expressions of cold amusement.
