章 42: Whiskey Peak pt. 4
As almost everyone was talking, Igaram walked over with 4 dummies, dressed as Vivi.
Luffy jumped up and pointed at him, saying "Woah! You look like Vivi, old man!" Zoro commented "He really doesn't." while Vivi ran over and said "What's all this, Igaram?" Igaram had a serious look on his face as he said "You must get to Alabasta safe and sound, without you the rebellion will tear the country apart and Crocodile will win! I will be a distraction and sail away from here directly to Alabasta."
Vivi nibbled her lips and Igaram patted her shoulder, smiling "Don't worry. I will be fine, what matters is that you get back safe." he took the Eternal Pose from her jacket before walking away, waving behind him.
The crew saw him off and as he sailed away, Vivi waved sadly. As she was waving, an explosion went off in the distance. The crew and Vivi watched in complete shock as the boat just disappeared.
Thirteen's eyes lit up with the light from the explosion and he stared at it silently. Nami said in terror "They're already after us?!" Luffy said seriously "Thirteen, Zoro, go get Sanji and Usopp. Meet us at the ship."
Zoro and Thirteen looked over before disappearing completely as they sped across the rooftops towards the building they were just at.
Thirteen lashed his whip at the roof, blowing a hole through as Zoro jumped in and Thirteen ran to the side where the front door was. He jumped off the edge and caught Usopp, who was thrown at him, before landing on the ground and following Zoro, who was dragging Sanji by the ankle, to the ship.
They got to the ship, threw Usopp and Sanji on board before jumping on themselves. Thirteen pulled up the anchor and Zoro rolled down the mast as Luffy came around with Vivi and Nami, climbing on board as well.
Luffy grinned at Thirteen and Zoro before Nami started sailing away. Vivi said "Where's Caroo!" Zoro pointed to a duck next to him and said "This him? He was here before we got here." Vivi hugged Caroo and directed Nami where to sail.
The ship started sailing away from Whiskey Peak and Nami wiped her forehead, saying "It's almost morning…" as she stood on the deck.
Thirteen was sitting against the railing and his ear twitched slightly. He turned his head to the side and blinked at the woman that was sitting on the top deck railing of the Merry, saying "We need to make sure we don't hit those rocks."
Nami nodded and said "That's true!" before pausing and turning to Luffy, asking "Did you just speak?" Luffy looked at her with a big smile and blinked, Nami turned to Thirteen and opened her mouth before closing it as she screeched "WHO ARE YOU!?" jumping in the air and hiding behind the mast.
Zoro grabbed his swords, Luffy looked at the woman curiously as Vivi shouted "Ms All Sunday!? What are you doing here?!" All-Sunday smiled and said "Well, I happened to meet Igaram on the way and thought I'd drop by to say hello."
Vivi clenched her fists and said "IT WAS YOU!"
Luffy tilted his head and said "So she's a bad guy?" Vivi explained "Why did you let us figure out Crocodile's plans!?" Luffy asked "So she's really a good guy?" All-Sunday waved and said "Entertainment, I suppose. Watching a weak and useless princess take on all of Baroque Works sounds quite interesting, don't you think?"
Luffy scratched his head as he looked at All-Sunday as Zoro muttered "Just shut up…"
All-Sunday smiled at Vivi as the others pointed weapons at her, she said "Don't point those dangerous things at me." as the others' weapons flew out of their hands and to the ground.
Thirteen tilted his head and reached into a bag, pulling out the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia. He flipped the pages and stopped on a fruit that looked like a flower, he read the description and grabbed the hand that was reaching for the book.
A mouth and an eye grew on the hand and read the book before saying "Wow, look at that. A full in-depth description." the eyeball looked at Thirteen up and down before saying "You're that Escaped Slave aren't you?"
Thirteen flipped her palm and wrote in it with his thumb. When he finished, the hand disappeared and the woman was no longer smiling. She threw an Eternal Pose to Vivi and said coldly "That's to Nothing at all Island, go there if you want to live since you'll die at your next destination anyway." before walking to the side of the ship, coincidentally where Thirteen was sitting.
She turned back and saw Luffy crushing the Eternal Pose, looking at her and saying "Nobody except me decides where this ship goes." his aura was rising steadily and Thirteen looked at him before the woman.
All-Sunday looked at Luffy for a moment before looking back to the sea under her and then Thirteen, she frowned and muttered "You don't know anything, don't go saying whatever you want." she turned her head and jumped off onto a giant turtle, speeding off into the distance.
Thirteen looked off the ship at her leaving, catching her figure curling up and hugging her knees sadly. He blinked and turned back to the crew as Nami shouted at Luffy for breaking the Eternal Pose, which was a permanent one island Log Pose.
Now they were forced to go where the Log Pose pointed them to, which was labeled a death zone by All-Sunday.
Thirteen closed the book and put it back in his backpack before going to work out again, forgetting the encounter with All-Sunday altogether. He didn't understand what happened, therefore he didn't care.
Zoro joined him and Sanji grumbled, tagging along, while Usopp watched from a distance working on his inventions, Luffy sat on the head of the Merry, and Nami was talking to Vivi on the deck.
Everything was smooth sailing but with a new person on deck.
