-|Marcus|– (Day 04)
After the girls had played with their pokemon for a time and got to know them better, we headed outside. It was a nice warm day with the sun shining brightly.
The pokemon were put in the care of Kirlia who would watch after them as they played around with each other.
We on the other hand, would begin with farming. First I inspected if the soil was ripe now, and while it could be better, it would have to do for a first harvest. When we acquire more money from it we can buy fertilizer and other things to make it better.
After checking, I instructed Erza and Naruko to feed the Mareep while the other two and I went around sowing the seeds in the locations that I had already marked out for them. In addition to a large field of wheat, we planned to plant tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, melons, pumpkins, and see how the crops developed for the first harvest.
Even though it took some time and the others arrived to assist after feeding the Mareep, we managed to plant every seed in its proper location. I then went and fetched the watering can so I could go water the seeds and hopefully they would grow nicely.
After that, Bob announced he had come, so I went to greet him after giving Ruby the watering can to store in the shed.
"Hi Bob, how are things going?" I questioned him.
"It's not bad at all. So let's go examine the farm, shall we? He answered with a shrug.
"All right, let's go." I told him and gave him a tour of the area.
We began with the house as it was one of my top priorities when it came to adding a bathroom. We explored it and its surroundings before heading to the barn, where Bob checked to make sure the wood was still in good condition and free of rot.
After that, we took a tour of the farm so he could measure it and see the fence that surrounded it.
Once he had finished going over everything, we started discussing costs.
He estimated that adding a bathroom to the house would cost me about 15,000 pokedollars, or 20,000 pokedollars if the interior was included.
Since the barn is still in decent shape, repairs would only cost about 10,000 pokedollars.
Due to the small number of broken sections, the cost of mending the fence was 5,000 pokedollars.
I also wanted to know how much other things, like a pen for the Mareep, cost.
In the end, I asked him if he could for now mend the fence, so that the others and I wouldn't have to keep watching the Mareep in case they decided to go through it.
He stated that fixing it would just take a day and that he could get started tomorrow.
Ruby approached me after he departed, holding an unusual acorn.
"Marcus, l-look this was in the shed behind some crates. What kind of acorn is this." She asked handing me the acorn.
Looking it over it was an acorn all right but it was glowing slightly with a golden tint to it. I had never seen anything like it before, and from what I could sense with my aura, it was full of life-force.
"I don't really know either Ruby, it looks like an acorn but I have never seen one that glows." I replied.
"Lets grow it and see what it becomes than, maybe it will be a ramen tree." Naruko says while drooling at the thought.
After thinking about it for a second I say. "Sure I guess we can see what it becomes."
Looking around the place I thought the best place for a tree, which we will grow solitary, would be in the middle of the grass area. "Lets plant it here, this will eventually become a flower field for us so having the tree grow here in the middle would be a nice place I think."
The others agreed and we had Ruby plant it in the ground after digging a small hole. After watering it, we went around cleaning the rest of the farm up. We were about 1/5 done with the farming area now, so we could plant more crops later.
When we were done cleaning up more space I let the girls go play with their pokemon again, while I began making a early dinner for us.

Holding my Oshawott in my arms I walked towards the pond on the farm, it was next to the barn and it was a good size.
"Okay Oshawott, show me what you can do." I asked, interested to see how it fights.
"Osha." Oshawott responded by running towards a rock around his size when he got closer to it his body gave of a slight glow and he tackled against the rock.
The rock got thrown a few feet away, and Oshawott turned around towards me placing his hands on his waist and puffing up his chest. "Os-Osha."
"Wow that looked very strong Oshawott." I told him, thinking he look quite cute like that. "Can you do more?"
"Wott." He responded by picking his shell from his chest and turning towards the rock again. He then swung his little arm with the shell at it. Midway his swing, I could see water forming around the edge of his shell and the moment it reached the rock, it cut it clean in half.
"Wow that was amazing Oshawott!" I couldn't help but exclaim, he just cut right trough that rock, was that a water move? I should ask Marcus later.
Oshawott just puffed his chest up again, trying to look important, but just looking very cute to me.

Walking around the farm with Pichu in her arms, I went to go see the Mareep. I thought to play with them with Pichu, because they are both Electric type so they wouldn't hurt each other, I hope.
Arriving there I watched Pichu playing around with the Mareep, it was funny seeing him jump on their back and getting lost in their wool.
I was enjoying having a pokemon that was so cute, and I got only shocked once by Pichu, on accident of course. Not because I was hugging him to tightly…
Anyway I went up to Pichu and gave him one of the cookies I had on me, which he seemed to enjoy a lot.
Though him giving me puppy eyes for more cookies, was sadly very affective, so I gave him another.
Next shopping trip I must ask Marcus for more cookies.
-|Rose|-
I was sitting together with my Snivy just relaxing in the sun, we were in the grass area where there was now a spot with cut grass.
Snivy had cleared it with a pokemon move where leaves cut trough the grass, though I wonder where the leaves themselves came from.
It was nice to just relax for once, not having to clean the garden of my aunt, no screaming either, just peacefully sitting.
Snivy seamed to agree, just basking in the sun with her eyes closed.
I could get used to living like this.
-|Naruko|-
Running around the farm with Fennekin by my side, I couldn't help but be very happy right now. I got my own pokemon, a friend for life. And it was a cute fox looking one too. I always liked foxes, I often played with some if I found them in the forest around Konoha, sometimes I would even dream about one, it was a big orange one. But since coming here I haven't had that dream anymore.
That kind of saddened me sometimes, and made me wonder why I only had them before coming here.
But now I have my own fox pokemon and I can play around with her whenever I want.
I wonder if I can do any combo moves with my pokemon with that aura thingy I have, I once saw an Inuzuka do one with their dog partner after all.

*Honk*
Finishing with preparing dinner I hear a Honk from a truck out the front door and go to take a look.
It seems to be the person who will buy or products from the Graze Company, going by the logo on the side of the truck.
Out of the truck came a boy/man of around 16 years of age, he had green hair and eyes and looked like he spent a lot outside, going by his tanned skin.
"Hello there, my name is Wally Applin. Is this the Akai-Yozora farm." He asked.
"Yes nice to meet you, my name is Marcus Grain. I have taken over this farm from my late grandfather." I replied while holding out my hand.
He shakes it and says. "Nice to meet you too, so do you have something to sell already?"
"Well the crops are just planted so that will still take a while, but yesterday me and the girls here went fishing and we have some ready to be sold." I told him as we walked together to the back by the pond, where Erza and Oshawott were playing.
"Hey Erza, this is Wally he is here to buy the fish." I told her.
"Nice to meet you." She responded and gave a nod to Wally.
"Nice to meet you too, so lets see those fish." He said, and I took out the net on the side of the pond with the fish in it.
Wally walked up to them and pulled out some kind of scanner, and proceeded by scanning all the fish.
"Well you got some good ones in here, the total price I will give you for these would be 2.000 pokedollars." He told me and I found it a reasonable price, so I agreed to it.
Pulling the net with the fishes out of the pond, I put them in a few buckets I had prepared beforehand. After that we carried the fishes to his truck where we then put them in a small aquarium in the back of the truck.
"Here is the 2.000 pokedollars. Pleasure doing business with you, I will see you tomorrow then." He told me going back inside his truck.
"See you Wally." I waved him goodbye.
Going back inside I called out to the girls that dinner was ready, at which Naruko came running inside, with the others following, but at a calmer pace.
"Calm down Naruko, there is enough for everyone." I told her.
"Haha, sorry." Naruko said with a light giggle.
Dinner was eaten and it seems they really like my cooking, even though I didn't think I was that good of a cook.
After we were done the girls went back to their room with their pokemon, and I went to my chair in the living room.
Time to go back to reading that book again, let's see about berries this time. I want to go looking for them in the forest later after all.
Only after that, will I buy the types that I couldn't find.
No reason to waste money on them otherwise after all.
Maybe I should start the girls tomorrow on their lessons in Aura and Psychic, it is after all a long road to learning to control it and become stronger in it, and they seemed excited about learning a power to use/defend themselves with.
I wonder if Ruby having aura will affect her Pichu in anyway, maybe it can still eventually evolve into the Alolan Raichu variant.
Either way we will see tomorrow how it goes.
