章 34: Flames of Charizard
My pidgeot was up against aster's breloom,
"Pidgeot Sand Attack and then aerial ace" I said.
"breloom use bounce" Aster said.
Breloom used bounce but he was not able to judge speed of pidgeot who gave him a direct hit with aerial ace. That attack was so powerful that Breloom fell down and swirls could be seen in his eyes.
"Breloom is unable to battle, Pidgeot won, Gym Leader switch your pokemon" Said Referee.
"That move was really powerful Ujjawal. I miscalculated your power. Now let's see how will you battle this one" Said Aster and sent her Cradily.
'So Rock and Grass type. pidgeot can handle it' I thought.
"Trainer do you want to change your pokemon" Asked referee and I said No.
"Ok then let's begin" Said referee.
"Pidgeot repeat the attack" I said.
Pidgeot used Sand attack and then was heading for Aerial Ace, It was going to be a direct hit when aster said "Use Smack Down"
Smack down at that close was really powerful and pidgeot fell down on the ground.
"Cradily use Rock Slide" Aster Said.
"Dodge it Pidgeot" I said but pidgeot was hurt from the smack down and it was not able to move. Rocks fell on Pidgeot hurting her more badly.
"Pidgeot Fly" I shouted. That shout awoke pidgeot and she flew in air, she was breathing heavily and two super effective moves and also direct hits really tore her up.
"Pidgeot Hurricane" I said.
"Rock Slide Cradily" Said Aster.
Hurricane was our most perfected move as we started training that move from the first day of training itself so that rock slide was also mixed in hurricane and cradily got hit. he fell down but stood up back, he was also breathing heavily now and I knew that the next attack will finish him.
"Pidgeot Sand Attack and Steel Wing" I said.
"Rock Slide Cradily" Aster Said.
My pidgeot was really quick and I thought that she will think we will come from front so I asked pidgeot to attack from back but I was wrong, she read what I was thinking and cradily turned towards pidgeot to use rock slide, he used the move and pidgeot hit him with steel wing and in next second pidgeot was again hit by Rocks. They both fell down unconcious.
"Both pokemons are unable to battle, Trainers please switch your pokemons" referee said.
I recalled Pidgeot and said "You were really awesome there buddy, now take some rest. We are going to have a party tonight".
"So you cornered me now Ujjawal, but this pokemons is capable of turning table" Aster Said and sent Venasaur.
I sent my Charizard to counter her venasaur. Aster evolved her venasaur to mega venasaur.
"Venasaur use energy ball" Said Aster.
"Dodge it and use flamethrower" I said. Charizard was one of the speediest pokemon in the team just after Lucario and Mewtwo. She dodged the energy ball very easily and sent flame towards venasaur which was direct hit.
"Use Fire Blast" I said.
"Venasaur Dodge" Said Aster but previous hit by flamethrower was so hot that venasaur was still trying to recover from it and couldn't dodge it and he got hit by Fire blast.
I thought it was finishing move but venasaur stood up back and roared, damage could be seen at him but he still wanted to fight.
"That's the spirit Venasaur, Use Synthesis" Said Aster.
"Don't Let him heal Charizard, Use Eruption" I said and Charizard used eruption which was really powerful and Venasaur fell down on ground unconscious.
"Venasaur is Unable to battle and Charizard won. As Gym leader don't have any pokemon left so winner is Challenger Ujjawal" Announced Referee.
I ran towards Charizard and hugged her "We won charizard, you were really awesome there and didn't even got a single hit" I said.
Charizard also growled in happiness and picked me up and put on her shoulder.
Aster came towards us and said "Your pokemon are very powerful Ujjawal and so is there bond with you. I have not used Mega power of my venasaur from many months but you beat him in his mega form as well."
I jumped down from Charizard's Shoulder and thanked Aster for her appreciation. She gave me Leaf Badge for my winning. Now I got 5 badges and 5 more were remaining.
I thanked her again and then walked towards pokemon center with charizard. I went to pokemon Center and gave my Charizard, primape and pidgeot to nurse joy for check up and went to the table where I saw my friends were sitting and talking about something. When I reached there Ankita came and hugged me.
"Where were you, what took you so long" Ankita said.
I briefed them about everything happened and then showed them my Leaf Badge for which they congratulated me. Ashvin asked me about my battling with Aster and I told everyone about my battle experience there.
"Your Pidgeot beat her Breloom with Single hit ?" Ashvin said in shock.
"Yes but Cradily was little hard to defeat as we misjudged their moves" I said.
"And you are saying you fought her Mega Venasaur and beat her with your Charizard without even getting a single hit" Ashvin said almost shouting.
"Yes, Yes. Now calm down" I said.
"I don't believe you" Ashvin said.
"No, he is saying truth" Said someone from behind. We all turned towards the sound and saw Aster standing with Tropius that she saved earlier.
"Hey Aster, what are you doing here. Come join us" I said.
She came to us and said to me "I think this tropius started a liking towards you and your battle strategy. Also I saw your love towards your pokemon so I think I can trust you if you agree to become her trainer"
"What !!!! really Tropius " I said. and Tropius nodded. "We will make a great team" I said in excitement. I captured her in my pokeball and asked Aster if she did her checkup or should I give her to Nurse Joy to take care.
"I did from my said but it's always better to double check" Said Aster.
I went to nurse joy and gave her my newly caught Tropius and she said to wait for a while as my other pokemons were also not healed yet.
I returned to my friends and Ashvin was asking alot of questions to Aster for which she was replying calmly. I could also see a little blush on her face when I returned to them but I ignored as you know you can understand any big science theory but never understand exact indications of girl.
It was almost 9 days from the day mew took my pokemon so tomorrow I could be getting my pokemons back and my other pokemons will be sent for next few days. I was happy for getting my pokemon back and said as I had to sent my these pokemons with mew for training but I knew that was for their benefit as they can become more powerful and they can also be best in their species.
I collected my pokemons then we continued our chat with my friends and aster.
What is new power my pokemons will be having when they return and how will be their reaction as this was 10 days for me but 10 years for them. Wait to see in next chapter.
