章 15: Chapter 15:Changing The Fate Of Three WAIFU!

After the Ho-Oh incident was over, the trio stood in silence, the awe of the legendary Pokémon's presence still lingering in the air. The vibrant rainbow that had followed Ho-Oh's majestic flight slowly began to fade, leaving behind the clear blue sky as a reminder of the extraordinary moment.

Misty broke the silence, turning to Ash with a concerned expression. "Ash, we need to get Pikachu to a Pokémon Center. It's still hurt from the Spearow attack. Come with me, I will take you to Viridian City." Her voice carried a sense of urgency, her gaze dropping to the limp Pikachu in Ash's arms.

Ash nodded, his face determined. "Yeah, you're right. I need to make sure Pikachu is okay." He glanced at his partner, who gave a faint, exhausted squeak. "Hang in there, buddy."

Ace, who had been watching the interaction, stepped forward with a small smile. "You two take care of yourselves," he said, his blue eyes locking onto Ash. His white hair glinted under the sunlight as he adjusted his backpack. "Be careful out there. Spearow flocks aren't the only dangers you'll face on this journey."

Misty looked at Ace with a soft smile. "Thanks, Ace. You be careful too, alright?"

Ace gave a sheepish grin, rubbing the back of his neck. "I will, Misty."

As Misty prepared her bike, Ace raised a hand in farewell. "Goodbye, you two. I'm heading out as well. I've got my own journey to continue." He turned, his confident stride taking him down the path away from the riverbank.

Misty called out after him, her voice carrying a mix of warmth and gratitude. "Take care, Ace! Maybe we'll cross paths again someday."

Without turning back, Ace waved over his shoulder. "Maybe we will." His voice carried the faintest hint of a smile as he disappeared into the distance.

Misty mounted her bike and gestured for Ash to hop on. "Come on, Ash."

With a nod, Ash climbed onto the bike, clutching Pikachu tightly. As Misty pedaled away, he glanced back at the path Ace had taken, a newfound respect for the mysterious trainer stirring in his heart.

'He's something else,' Ash thought, determination igniting in his amber eyes. 'But one day, I'll catch up to him.'

Ace pedaled his bike leisurely through the winding path leading into Pallet Town, his white hair fluttering slightly in the breeze. The small, peaceful town stretched out before him, bathed in the golden hues of the afternoon sun.

He parked his bike atop a gentle hill overlooking the quaint settlement, the warm light casting long shadows over the rows of modest houses and the iconic silhouette of Professor Oak's lab in the distance. "Pallet Town," Ace murmured, a smile tugging at his lips. "Small but legendary."

He sat down for a moment, letting his gaze wander. 'This place produced legends—Red, Blue, Green, and even Ash. All of them went on to become champion-level trainers in one way or another. It's inspiring.'

But before he ventured into town, he had a task to complete. Carefully, he reached for his Pokéballs and released Smeargle. The artistic Pokémon blinked up at him, tail wagging slightly.

"Alright, Smeargle," Ace bega. "I need you to keep an eye out. Just a precaution."

Smeargle tilted its head curiously but nodded, understanding its trainer's serious tone.

Next, Ace pulled out another Pokéball and released Spearow. The tiny bird Pokémon appeared in a flash of light, lying still on the ground with its eyes closed. But Ace wasn't fooled. He smirked knowingly, crouching down beside it.

"You're awake, aren't you?" he said, his tone amused.

Spearow twitched slightly but continued its act. Ace chuckled softly. "Fine, we'll do this your way."

He reached into his bag, pulling out an antidote and a potion. Carefully, he administered them, his hands steady and gentle. "You're a tough one, Spearow," he said as he worked. "Taking on an entire flock of your own kind, leading them, and then battling Smeargle the way you did. You've got spirit—I like that."

Spearow's eyes fluttered open, its act finally abandoned. It ruffled its feathers and gave a soft, begrudging squawk, as if acknowledging Ace's words.

Ace grinned, sitting back on his heels. "There you are. Feeling better now?"

Spearow tilted its head, observing him intently.

Ace met its gaze, his expression sincere. "You're strong, and I'm happy to have you on my team. Together, we're going to accomplish great things."

For a moment, Spearow stared at him, its sharp eyes studying the young trainer. Then, with a chirp, it flapped its wings and hopped closer to him.

Ace's smile widened. "I'll take that as a yes. Welcome to the team, Spearow."

Smeargle watched the interaction with a wag of its tail, clearly approving of the new addition to their group.

Ace stood, brushing off his knees. "Alright, let's get moving. We've got things to do in Pallet Town."

While Ace continued his ride into Pallet Town, inside Professor Oak's lab, an intense discussion unfolded. Four esteemed Pokémon Professors stood around a table, engaged in an animated conversation. Professor Oak was joined by Professor Sycamore from Kalos, Professor Birch from Hoenn, and Professor Rowan from Sinnoh. Their topic ranged from regional Pokémon adaptations to the influence of environmental changes on evolution.

While the professors were absorbed in their technical discussions, three young girls sat together on a nearby couch, looking increasingly bored.

The first girl, with brown hair tied into twin pigtails and a red bandana with a Pokéball design, leaned back and sighed loudly. Her Torchic chirped in her lap, but even the little Fire-type seemed drowsy. "How long are they going to keep talking?" May groaned. "It feels like we've been here forever!"

Next to her, a blue-haired girl holding a chirpy Piplup shook her head, rolling her eyes. "Two hours," Dawn muttered, exasperated. "Two. Hours. They could at least let us explore the lab or something!"

Serena, the honey-haired girl seated beside them, gave a small smile as she stroked her Fennekin's ears. The little fox Pokémon purred contentedly, oblivious to its trainer's slight annoyance. "Well, being sponsored trainers means we have to put up with these kinds of things," Serena said, her voice calm but resigned. "Still, I wish they'd at least give us a break."

May slumped forward dramatically. "If I have to hear another word about Pokémon ecosystems, I swear I'll—"

"You'll what?" Dawn interjected, smirking. "Go on a hunger strike until they stop talking?"

"Maybe," May retorted, sticking her tongue out playfully.

Serena giggled softly as she adjusted her hat. "We might be bored now, but this is the calm before the storm. Once we're on our journeys, it'll be nothing but travelling. We'll miss this downtime."

May and Dawn exchanged skeptical looks but didn't argue.

As the professors continued their discussion in the background, none of the girls noticed the subtle shift in the air. Unbeknownst to them, a certain white-haired trainer with piercing blue eyes had just reached Pallet Town. His presence would soon intertwine with their paths, bringing with it new challenges, bonds, and a journey none of them could have anticipated.
