Dante's POV

Did I just?

I didn't.

I apolo..apologized.

I bang my head on the desk repeatedly and then rub my sore forehead.

What is she doing to me?

"Mr. Wright, I just ringed to tell you that most employees have sent out for lunch" my receptionist informs me.

"Thanks, Cali, you may take a break also."

"Thanks, sir" I cut the call and decide to visit Aspen. I did promise to respect her and I needed to be there before my brother was.

I hurriedly saved my work on my laptop and made it to her office, but froze from what I saw. Aspen was on Damien's lap laughing away at something he said.

Perfect.

I clear my throat at Aspen springs up. Damien looks at me annoyed and I internally roll my eyes at him.

"May I borrow my brother for just a second please?" I say faking kindness. He rolls his eyes and whispers something in Aspen's ear making her smile widely and nod.
