章 236: To Measure What's Inside

[Adrian's POV]

The sudden urge to vomit jolted Adrian from his dreamless slumber. With a hand to his mouth, he shot up from the bed and dashed to the bathroom as fast as he could to puke out the disgusting bile crawling out of his throat. He dove straight into the toilet bowl and retched until his stomach churned painfully, bringing tears to his eyes.

Fuck! He had never been drunk this much since college days.

Adrian blinked his bleary eyes and groaned at the terrible twist of his stomach. A hand to his back informed him of someone's presence, but he was too busy feeling his stomach if it wanted to flip again or not to even figure out who it was. He held onto the edge of the toilet bowl, spat the sour bile that clung to the inside of his cheeks, then accepted the glass of water given to him.

"How are you feeling? Still want to throw up?"
