Where would he even get a gift at this hour? The sun was about to set.

Adrian rubbed both hands to his face as he looked around the front of Raymond's house. His mind raced as he thought about what kind of present he should give to Raymond, as he only blurted it out to prevent himself from dipping forward to his lips.

Why would he even think the birthday gift he could give was to kiss him?

It would be so stupid! And yet… Adrian shook his head. Maybe there'd be a chance for that in time, but not today. Or maybe never, as it could just be another whimsical attraction, because Johan broke his heart.

Wait... Johan? Raymond said it would be great if Johan could attend his birthday.
