Jerome gasped. "How did you know that? I don't remember telling you about my profession. Are you...?" He narrowed his green eyes at him. "Are you a fortune teller?"

"No, silly." Johan laughed harder, clutching his stomach at the hilarity of the question. Meeting Jerome again was a one-in-a-million chance out of pure coincidence. But to think that he was also Dr. Vahn's nephew that he declined to meet was something else. When his laughter died down, he sent Jerome a mysterious smile. "I'm a future grim reaper."

"Eh? But I thought you're an ice mage?"

"A grim reaper with ice magic."

"What's that? A crossover?" Jerome chuckled, letting go of his hand. Then he stretched an arm to the river, holding the empty cup while pulling his other hand close to his shoulder. "Then I'll be an archer with wind magic. I really want to learn archery. That would be cool."

"I know archery, but I use it on fishing."
