A god named Adam discovered himself in an empty canvas that he might use to make something before life was created.
Adam was lonely, so he was the first to speak in order to create art. "I need light; my artwork is too gloomy. in order for me to stop feeling alone
White ethereal light, in the shape of a tiny dot, sparkled on the canvas and nearly blinded him with its glitter and shine. He chuckled "Interesting now we are getting somewhere"
Grabbing his brush, he painted the canvas, creating a planet full of lovely hues and light that made his scowl seem absurd.
However, Adam experienced loneliness once more. He took a minute to reflect while staring at the canvas. After some time, he noticed something amazing: the stars he had drawn were now expressing his feelings in a very obvious way.
The specks became larger and larger as the stars started to coalesce into something remarkable. Adam grinned once again, picked up his brush, and proceeded to paint the planets and moons while he saw his own artwork develop a planet later on.
He spent years, hardly moving from his place, painting his masterpiece. And perhaps, just possibly, his art will surprise him once more, making his boredom and loneliness vanish.
"Done, my masterpiece," Adam remarked, using a rag to dab at his perspiration. He looked at the painting with a joyful attitude, excitement replacing his feelings of loneliness and boredom.
After some time, he noticed something that was not on the painting. Squeezing some of them into a cluster of colors and stars, he gripped the handkerchief that held his sweat.
His sweat turned into a dazzling star at the center of his creation, and then a solar system appeared. He glanced at the intriguing object that had captured his attention, grinned once more, and then reached out to touch the painting, feeling within his creation.
Now standing on a moon, looking at his perspiration as the brightest gem in his jewelry box. Glancing at the star he had painted in black and white, Adam remarked, "Gorgeous absolutely gorgeous."
The small sphere he stood on and this large, dark sphere. Adam grumbled and took a step, brush in hand, and began to paint again, saying, "This one is boring and hurtful to look at."
He added green, blue, and other colors he had learned about. "Let's make you beautiful, shall we?" he asked, glancing again at the sphere atop the moon.
He seized the sphere as though it were a plaything. He entered the space by tapping the sphere with his finger; inside, it resembled the rotating moon.
In order to create the ocean and rivers, Adam shears a tear upon the blue. Gazing upon the sphere he had poured so much blood, sweat, and tears into, he was pleased.
He attempted to add company to this environment, something he was lacking. He created the trees using green paint and a strand of his hair; the lands had already taken root and grown.
Adam wanted to build a talking buddy for this place, whether it be after a hundred years or forever. He wanted to construct a being of lesser origin and someone who would be like him, someone who would appreciate his labor and fill the gap in his heart.
As Adam gathered a handful of dirt into his hand and molded it into a miniature sculpture of himself, filling it with what he lacked, he exclaimed, "I will make you into something extraordinary and I will make more friends for you."
Before he could finish his creation, a softly spoken but trembling voice said, "Adam, where have you been?"
Answering the voice, Adam answered, "Father, I am here," as he peered up at the sky he had made.
A little, grumpy, elderly man with a spotless, polished wooden cane emerged from a star-shaped portal; he had a gloomy aura that mirrored everything, but his son was not one of the reflections.
"Adam, there has to be laws for this trick of the eyes" replied the father.
"Trick of the eyes?" asked a confused Adam. "You and the others gaze upon my art as an abomination to our way of living"
With a nod toward something emerging from the gateway, Time remarked, "I am not here to fight Adam; I am here to help along with your mother."
A plump woman with the father's features showed up; she was also wearing a hat adorned with stars and colors. Adam grinned, realizing that his mother had made him witness this. It appeared to be a sun hat.
Adam smiled at the gesture made by his parents as he smiles at their effort to try to connect with him.
It is Creation; Nature and Time combined to create the masterpiece we now refer to as Earth, or Gaia.
