章 23: The Cause to Decide 3
I was given a warning, well it's still my first warning for violating dorm rules but I don't mind, this is definitely going to be the last time I'm breaking that rule.
But of course there are some punishments, I can't leave the academic grounds for a week.
Well fuck it, I wanted to learn the [Star Killing fist] in secret but I guess I have to subtly show it to everyone.
Going to the training grounds and using a gravity pod I made sure that no one could see my activity. I placed it on 2g so as not to obstruct my training much.
With the guide screen in front of me it told me how hard it is to truly master the art.
But to my surprise something else happened.
The guide screen didn't open and my status was changing.

The screen appeared before me, well I guess it was true, after all Dragon's Breath was just a technique I improvised off the net.
And for it to appear in my status means it's an actual martial art with a guide, although incomplete.
Without further ado I consciously chose yes and I felt a disturbance within me, my mana seems to be moving back and forth but I didn't mind.
And after things inside me calmed down a screen appeared before me

When I looked at the screen guide of the martial art my face immediately turned sour. It involved too much control over primus; it was already impossible.
With my genius brain I could finish this in a hundred years but I don't plan to live that long even though humans could technically prolong their life.
No, just no. The 3rd Dimensional Rift would happen and I would be already dead by that time.
I check what I could master in a short amount of time. There are about 3 stances in the guide, not that they're ascending but they're aren't locked.
The first stance Reigning Sunburst has three techniques. Soundless palm, Ki burst and River flow.
River flow is movement and the other two are attack assimilated types.
Ki burst sounds promising so I decided to do that first. Closing the guide screen I stood up as I was still in the gravity pod, I decided to start practicing.

I walked out the gravity pod with my legs shaking like a massage gun. I swear sometimes I lose its strength and it would make me fall.
Ah right, Qian Xin would probably train at a time like this but she's out there convincing her elders, I hope she succeeds in convincing them.
"Hey you"
Some masculine voice called out of me from behind. I don't want any trouble right now but, the voice behind me seems to be mocking me.
"Yes?"
"Is a mere g2 you can handle?"
He scoffed, honestly I just want to rest.
"Yeah yeah"
I started walking away. I'm not in the mood. So I'd rather just go away.
"What's with you? Are you really that weak?"
"Yeah look at the school rankings for 1st graders"
I was about to step out of the training grounds when I heard something that triggered me the most.
"Aww… but would mommy be proud if you stayed in that rank?"
My footsteps completely halted
"Don't bring my mother into the conversation whoever you are"
I finally looked at the person talking to me, it was a guy I've never seen before. Especially in our section.
He has the typical black hair and eyes, a bit of freckles but that was it.
"And why? She's probably proud of you right~?"
I have no idea why he's provoking me right here but if he continues this I'll probably might actually send him to an ER
"Yeah, more than yours could be"
I just turned around and walked towards the exit, I had no time to quarrel with a disappointment. After all, I have things to do, I have a life to maintain.
"But… She's probably here to say that right~?"
Quickly materializing my gun and shooting at the floor in front of his foot I saw him jump at the sudden shot and before he even had the chance what happened I quickly placed the gun back in my Arsenal and formed a finger gun.
"There won't be a next time, you piece of garbage"
I walked away, I felt the sudden energy to kill someone that moment but instead I placed that energy on walking back to my dorm room.
Sighing once again I remembered I don't need to be violent, tomorrow would be Monday. I already spent a month and a week in this academy.
Not going to lie it was quite a hectic balance of chaos and good if I properly compare it.
Well, I still have to work tomorrow, I can't go to the warehouse right now but that's fine. I'll just message Anna.
She just sent me a picture of her and Miella freshly out of the bath house and eating some ice cream.
Anna was really disguised and Miella was walking around like a normal kid, she was really adorable honestly, it's just that she's gloomy.
Which I understand.
And also, I referenced my novel notes again. Miella turns out to be a villain, a one pitiful villain. The end of the arc her back story is revealed to be the most tragic one.
She was manipulated, brainwashed and gaslighted to the point that people actually would visibly contort their faces behind the screen.
She was detestable in the novel, nobody really liked her, everyone wanted her dead. But the back story made them quiet, she was… inhumanely made into what she is and the blame of such hate landed on Nexus.
Now that I think of it. Antagonists are different depending on the place. Human domain is Nexus. The other domains have their different types of antagonist but the human domain, oh the human domain are the most detestable.
Well, now I'm just glad I had one of the main villains of my novel turn to something different. Now that I think of it she was young… too… Young… damn.
So being reincarnated here is a punishment? No, not exactly just because I did mean it was.
Whatever, I'm just glad Miella was discovered at a young age, and now that I think about it. She mastered [Star Killing Fist] in the novel…
I guess I have a long way to go…
Quietly listening to the morning lecture I sat back relaxed, I already knew the majority of the lessons in here, after all even when I was 3 I was already reading tons of magic theories that I basically know every technical term used.
Not that I'm using it as an excuse just to slack off, I just want the teacher to be appreciated, Insidious High was called insidious for a reason by the way.
Most of the children in here are either just rising guild heirs or of course the Mafia's heir or cartels. Some are just people rich enough to be enrolled.
It's basically a cesspool of shitty people in one place. Even though Ceath is a residential city I swear they aren't safe from criminal organizations. The only ones I could trust here are the teachers, Senna and Qian Xin.
I have to finish the work on the warehouses, I have to put the ownership on Anna and do work behind the scenes.
As class finished I directly went back to the warehouses. I have to finish things by this week, or else I might be putting Miella and Anna in danger.
I already have two types of mafia gangs off my ass.
As I got off the bus I started walking through the street where the warehouse is located.
I immediately noticed a few things as I was walking, thanks to my 360° vision I could see a group of motorbikes just chilling in the alley.
I've never seen this gang before. My strides became faster. I wasn't turning my head to be suspicious, but somehow one of the group members looked at me. I stopped looking directly after passing by the alley.
"I swear if anything happens today… "
I'm almost there, to the warehouse I just have to walk a few more steps. Now that I look at the street, there's no people around…
I ran towards the gate and went inside. Letting out a sigh, I knew the activities of the mafia around here are getting active but those bike guys.
Even though strength depends on rank, if I get overwhelmed with numbers I'm still done for.
Those bike groups looked like gangs thanks to their leather jackets. I'd better stay here to be safe.
Walking inside the warehouse I found Anna teaching Miella how to make a potion and Miella being a curious child she should be.
"Looks like you got used to your babysitting role"
Anna looked at me with her brows furrowed.
"welcome back boss"
"You're going to look like your actual age if you keep your forehead wrinkled"
"I'm not that old!"
Frankly she's just 22 but that is still old to lil 12 year old me. I snickered.
"Anyways, both of you, don't come out for now. There are some gangs around here for all I know"
"I thought so too, we were about to get some food when we saw multiple guys on bikes terrorizing people. I didn't hear it clear but it seems they're trying to find someone"
I nodded towards Anna's words, if my hunch is correct I'm in more danger than them. Thanks to me asking Decker to buy some warehouse I ended up being entangled with the mafia.
Dammit.
The nearest bus stop is at the end of the street. If I have to go back to the dormitories I need to go and wait at the bus stop. But if my hunch is correct I would be in danger.
"I'll spend my night here."
"Wait really?"
Anna asked in surprise in which I nodded.
"How's Miella by the way?"
"She's fine"
Anna pointed at the equipment, seemingly pointing at the one behind it.
Mill's silky Black hair poked out and looked at me.
"Brother!"
"Oh my"
I slightly blushed, being called brother besides Ezekiel and Elizian makes me slightly embarrassed.
"oh~"
The moment I felt Anna's enthusiasm my mood shifted.
"Miella how are you?"
"I'm good! Look!"
She lifted up a flask and it contained a glowing blue liquid. She even seemed to be bragging.
"...What is that?"
I asked, seemingly curious.
"It's a stamina potion!"
I could see the herbs and some tools scattered in a table just across the wall where she's a few steps ahead very disorganized.
I let out a chuckle, and then looked at Anna, who was sitting on a couch, looking at her phone.
"You've become a mother now eh?"
"Huh???"
She said as she was looking through the web, obviously searching what to do with kids.
"there's a park in Longton District, you wanna go there with Miella?"
"That's… that's not a bad idea"
It's only been a few days ever since Miella got introduced to Anna but it seems she's already gotten attached, that's adorable.
Suddenly my phone buzzed.
There seems to be an activity for the whole academy, and it wrote one thing at the end of the announcement.
Do not be late.
This is 3 days from now on, and all students are required to be at their dorms.
"Dammit why now… "
Another event, and since this is not part of the main storyline of the novel I don't have anything to use to my advantage.
Nexus spies are everywhere in the human domain, so this event, which is named Sports Festival, is going to be a pain in the ass.
Well this week is the whole preparation anyways, next week is the actual event.
I need to go back at the dormitory first, I already have a warning and for a stupid reason too.
It was still 6 in the evening. I have five hours as 11pm is the curfew within the dorms.
I sighed, I should've stayed with stocks first instead of making a company of my own.
But hey, there's nothing to regret now. I already fed the train charcoal and the steam is already rolling.
After contemplating for a while I decided to take a detour and said goodbye to Anna and Miella.
The whole block is connected by a road, the bike gang looks like is staying the alley where I can go straight to the bus stop.
I can just go all the way around.
As I silently closed the gate and started walking, I made sure that there is no bike gangs in the street. Looking left and right, I continued my stride.
As I was halfway the block I should've made sure not to use the main street. There is another bike gang on a different alley.
I walked slowly, as not to be conspicuous but that made me a target I guess as I heard their bikes turn on and go up to me.
"it's him!"
'aw fuck'
I ran and looked at an alley, im faster than any human but I cannot outran a machine right now. They were catching up to me fast. Running through the alley I grabbed the nearest bin and pulled it down, obstructing their way.
–vroom!
"Hey!"
I didn't heard any collision but I heard trashing around, as I ran out the alley, to my dismay I saw another bike gang on the left side of the street.
"oh no"
–Vroom!
I didn't have to look back, as the last thing I saw was a man with leather jacket swinging something at me.
