章 33: Chapter Thirty Three

It had been five years since I had arrived at the Glimorin Estate. I had not gotten any closer to my grandparents as I did to the house-elf whose name I still did not require myself to know. Since that night I had created a routine. I wake up and make my bed myself, then I will go to my bathroom and freshen up. After that, I will dress and prepare for my lessons. I will grab my previous homework from the desk and bring it to the breakfast table where I would give it to my grandmother to check while I eat my breakfast.

Grandfather would be reading the paper and I would wait to get another letter from father, or any of the other pureblood children trying to get in touch with me. I did not care for any of the letters. I simply stacked them up into a pile at the end of the room. Despite me not appearing in social events it never stopped them from sending letters and at this point, I did not need to hear about how great their lives were at the moment.

I simply put all my energy in my lessons and barely spoke and kept my head held high filled with arrogance. If I had learned anything it was magic and pride. My birthday had passed and I had yet to receive my letter, grandfather assumed it was because of our enclosed Estate that they were not able to reach us without permission.

I felt restless, on your eleventh birthday you were supposed to receive your letter but I had just to receive it. I took a bite of the pancake with a strawberry on top.

"Pansy, I do suppose it might have been in one of your letters," grandfather said. "maybe," I said. I still had time after all I would not start Hogwarts till next summer. I enjoyed the winter but summer were the best times at the Glimorin Estate. It was always bright and everything looked pretty in the sunlight.

Although it was still winter and cold it shined sunnily. I looked outside to the tree on top of the hill. "I think I am going to take a stroll today," I said. Grandfather merely hummed. "You did very well again zero mistakes," Grandmother said. I finished my breakfast and left the room, I closed the door of the dining room.

"poor child still not over what her father had done," I heard grandmothers voice pity gleamed in her voice. "Let her be Eleine she wants to invest her time in her study it is still the best besides it is all our son's fault for not visiting regularly as he promised," Grandfather said with an edge in his voice. "He did visit! She just refused to talk, and completely ignored him, I would not appreciate that myself," Grandmother defended her son. I sighed deeply, this was a regular conversation they would have. "Would u blame her, he basically dumped her with her grandparents which she does not even know!" Grandfather said slapping the table.
