章 6: Not The Course
Frisk POV
Frisk stood awkwardly the 2 skeletons having a pretty amusing reaction that made them smile a little.
Papyrus-"SANS IS THAT A HUMAN"
Sans-"Nope all I see is a rock bro"
Frisk raised an eyebrow following Papyrus's gaze(somehow) and low and behold there was an actual rock that was comically small.'These 2 aren't serious' Frisk thought looking back.
Papyrus-"OH THERE REALLY IS. BUT WHAT'S IN FRONT OF IT!?"
Sans-"Oh. That's a Human"
Papyrus sockets sparkled "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT A REAL HUMAN HAS GRACED ME WITH THEIR EXISTENCE "he pointed at Frisk " HUMAN PREPARE YOURSELF FOR WHAT LIES AHEAD ARE CHALLENGES THAT ME AND MY BROTHER HAVE TOOK GREAT CARE IN MAKING. YOU WILL BE SO STUMPED AND AWESTRUCK YOUR CAPTURE WILL BE ASSURED NYEHEHEHEHE"Papyrus laughed before flipping away Sans walked after him.
'Those 2 aren't going to be an issue. You can trust the comedian.'
'I believe I don't have to worry about his brother but that remains to be seen'
Frisk walked forward coming across an outpost That looked pretty empty Frisk lifted themselves only to be hit hard in the face falling back and hitting their head. Frisk rolled to their side but was hit in the stomach sending them tumbling across the ground. They got up their hair was messily covering their eyes they spit out blood hands twitching.
'this is.something new =)'
???: "We really have to treat this kid so roughly"
???: "We were told about Them as soon as they exited the Ruins. Plus their clothes still have a bit of dust they tried to get rid of"
????: "Oh. Right I guess we can't play kid"
*You encounter lesser dog and Doggo*
"Dogs.No wonder they would smell that, "Frisk said to themselves Before they stepped back "I'm sure we can talk things out," They said smiling.
*talking might not be an option*
the 2 rushed Frisk who slid between them and swung their knife to cut across Lesser Dog's back but their arm was stabbed by Doggo's blue blade. Frisk grabbed his arm and headbutted him making him lose his grip with the blade stuck in her arm Frisk kicked Doggo away leaving him low on HP. 'I got this damn thing in my arm still but they should pay right? I don't know anything about the king besides what he wants from me. So one of them is dying' Frisk thought before pulling out the blade and eating the spider Donut.
*You ate The spider donut HP fully restored*
Lesser Dog jumped at them but they dodged before jumping on top of him "I don't really like doing this but. You're not doing yourselves any favors" I stabbed through his armor as Frisk saw Doggo's blade at the corner of their eyes 'Wait. Moving seemed to have been important for him. I can afford to test this theory' Frisk though as they pressed the blade through for a more secure still position Doggo's blade passed through with no damage "Blue is the new red down here. Oh wait they don't have cars heh" I punched him down. "Please stay down".
Frisk pulled out the knife Lesser Dog rolled over to their feet and Threw their blue spear Frisk had no choice but to stay still but as it passed through they had to move fast to grab the second one which made their arm feel numb as they were pushed down into the snow diverting the spear in the snow.
'This is quite unusual whatever they were told to do must have been serious. You'll either have to subdue them or Kill them.'
Frisk got up Lesser Dog grabbed their spear and Doggo got behind them Frisk's soul pulsed with Determination. The 2 rushed at Frisk but before either could get close Frisk jumped and punched Doggo down "I hate having to hit someone as blind as you. It doesn't help that your a dog" Frisk dodged Lesser Dogs charge as they tripped over Doggo Frisk stabbed down into their shoulder only to recieve an elbow to the face and fall on their back holding their nose.
*Your little trick wasn't appreciated Lesser Dogs attack went up*
Frisk got back ignoring the pain they felt easily getting past the blue attack and with a much faster reaction delivered 4 punches putting massive dents in their armor and putting Lesser dog down and with little effort letting Doggo's weak attack pass before he was also one the ground.
*Victory is assured. What will you do?*
Frisk stood above them both as they took a step forward clenching their fist something came in their mind.
~Flashback~
Frisk was about a year younger and stood alongside 2 other silhouettes an Adult stared down at all 3 with disappointment and anger. They were all glitchy.
"This is the last straw all 3 or you will be kicked out and given to be another Facilities problem. Being a part of this project does not give you all excuses to act as You, please. But luckily you're going to get a second chance so your families won't be exiled as an example" The adult said before snapping their fingers as the 2 boys were taken away the adult put full attention on Frisk "Frisk I am not going to tolerate you putting yourself in these situations to satisfy some thrill your the best of our Project. Those 2 will be followed and taken care of by you. Let it be your example of trying to put yourself in the shoes of others"
~Present~
Frisk looked confused "I.Don't...Remember any of t-that" They said sounding shaken up.
'...Decide on what you'll do to the dogs Frisk'
Frisk shook their head and shook doggo "Tell me why you both attacked me!" They shouted making Doggo sweat bullets" The royal scientist sent mail out to most of the Royal guard to take care of you quickly. Since you're the last soul we need to break the barrier. We were told not to waste time" He said fear blatant in his voice. Frisk nodded before punching through him as he turned to dust."I'm...Sorry about this" Frisk looked down before picking up the toy knife and slicing Lesser dog in half.

Frisk started walking until they came across a little ice ring with a sign in the middle they skated across to it and read it

Frisk sighed and sat down lying against the sign "This whole day has really tired me out" Frisk closed their eyes and fell asleep. Unknown to them a series of cameras had captured their actions.
'This...isn't how this was supposed to go.It's.....EXCITING'

???: "Was it wise to send out those false letters?"
????: "Alphys isn't taking them seriously Enough. Plus the more that disappear the more problems will come to them. I really can't wait to be the star on the surface. She'll thank us for this one day. Keep the cameras running."
