章 58: "Celebration Time"
The stadium's announcer was chanting the name Paulo on the mic and the fans also started to chant his name along with the announcer as well. Fabio brought back Paulo to his feet from his shoulders, and Cilo Eincho hugged and lifted Paulo in joy and said.
"I knew it! I knew it! that you would score the goal from that free kick but man you had beaten that goalkeeper as well, That goalkeeper Goncalo, was the pain in my nose bro! I was worried that he might save that free kick, but you scored."

Cilo Eincho was ready to protect his teammates, but suddenly Leonardo came in front and walked along with his teammates and stood in front of Cilo Eincho. The disappointment was clear on his face, Cilo Eincho thought that he would pick up a fight against him and his teammates and would try to spoil their celebration but Cilo Eincho was standing like a wall in front of his teammates and was ready to protect his teammates but Leonardo smirked and started clapping. Cilo Eincho and his teammates were confused and were like 'What the hell is happening?' Leonardo then also asked all of his teammates to clap as well, and the whole Bologna F.C. players started to clap as well.
After clapping Leonardo came to Cilo Eincho, raised his hand forward for a handshake, and said.
"You all played a brilliant game, We thought we had it and going to win this game but you proved us wrong, your willingness to win the game was much stronger than our game plan. Congratulations my friend!"
Cilo Eincho was amazed by the respect that Leonardo showed despite losing the match, Cilo Eincho shook hands with him and said.
"I am sorry for your defeat."
To which Leonardo replied.
"You don't have to be sorry amigo, You all played sensational in the second half you all won because of your hard work You deserve this victory. All the best for the upcoming season."
Cilo Eincho and Leonardo share a hug and show respect for each other Later the players of both teams start to shake hands with each other and Bologna F.C. players congratulate Parma C.F. players. Paulo was shaking hands with Bologna F.C. players when suddenly Leonardo came in front of him. Paulo was shy and nervous when he came in front because he never had a chance to have a word with him. Leonardo raised his hand forward to shake hands with him, Paulo shook hands with Leonardo but during the handshake, he was nervous Leonardo was very humble and was also impressed by him. Leonardo started to praise him for his performance.
"Hmmm, Paulo! Am I right?"
Paulo replied.
"Yes! Yes, you are right! My name is Paulo, Paulo Romani."
Leonardo said.
"You played brilliantly, you were phenomenal today when you came on the field you changed the game completely. You are an amazing player I am impressed by you."
Paulo was on the moon after hearing his praise from Leonardo, Paulo thanked him constantly for his praise of him. Later Leonardo wished him luck and left, while Paulo was still amazed by Leonardo's praise for him.
On the sidelines, Ale Piola was celebrating the victory with Lorenzo, a moment later Ale Piola approached the Bologna F.C. manager who was sitting on the bench disappointed. Ale Piola asked him for a handshake the Bologna F.C. coach immediately shook hands with and showed respect to him. The Bologna F.C. coach said some good words to Ale Piola.
"Your team was fantastic, they played extremely well in the second half, Your team deserves this victory, and yeah one more thing that the young lad Paulo is a great talent I hope he succeeds. All the best for the upcoming season."
Ale Piola thanked him for his words and also wished him the best of luck. After that Ale Piola went to the field to celebrate the victory with his players. In the VIP box, Luis Salvatore and Marco Esposito were celebrating the victory later Luis Salvatore called his secretary and said in his ears.
"Go down on the field and avoid the journalist and the reporters to reach Paulo."
The secretary agreed to his command and left the VIP box. After the celebration, Ale Piola told his players to head back to the dressing room. The players were heading their way back to the dressing room, Paulo was also going to the tunnel but suddenly he was stopped by many reporters who came in front of him with their mics and cameras and started asking various questions him. Paulo was so confused at that moment that he didn't know how to answer their questions before he could say anything Luis Salvatore's secretary arrived at that moment and took Paulo away from the mics of the reporters and told them.
"Any other day, but not right now, please."
And took Paulo inside the tunnel. Inside the tunnel, Luis Salvatore's secretary asked Paulo.
"Did you answer any of the questions they asked you?"
Paulo simply replied with a No. The Luis Salvatore's secretary then continued.
"Great! Right Now you don't need to answer any of the reporters, just enjoy the victory OK?"
Paulo nodded his head and Luis Salvatore's secretary left him. Paulo went to the dressing room and inside the dressing, it was all chaos everybody was splashing water on each other through the water bottles, Ale Piola was also celebrating like mad man with his players. Paulo was smiling seeing them so happy Later Ale Piola brought Paulo to the center of the dressing room and said.
"Guys! Just give a huge round of applause for our hero one and only PAULO ROMANI!!!!!!!!"
Everyone started to splash water at Paulo and sing his name. Lorenzo came up front and asked everyone in the dressing room to give him a minute because he wanted to say something. He said.
"Well, guys! Before the match, I thought that this was going to be my last match, and after this to whom I should give my number 7 jersey? I guess I have finally found the right candidate for it."
Lorenzo pulled off his jersey and gave it to Paulo. He said.
"I have served this sacred jersey for the last ten years now This jersey belongs to you."
Everyone in the dressing room started clapping and cheering Paulo and urged him to take the jersey from Lorenzo. The jersey that was worn by Diego Sanchez Paulo's childhood hero and Parma C.F. legend was now given to him.
Paulo was emotional seeing the jersey in front of his eyes he took the jersey from Lorenzo and after taking the jersey Paulo hugged Lorenzo and thanked him for giving him the number 7 jersey while everyone was cheering for them. During this emotional moment, President Luis Salvatore alongside Marco Esposito and his secretary arrived at the dressing room and joined the party.
