OPHELIA'S POV

"I got a call from your school today, Ophelia."

Fuck, it can't be about my absence in the last week. I was almost out of the door when my mum stopped me. I couldn't believe she was up this early, considering the fact that she came home at midnight from her trip.

"Uhh, yeah? What was it about?"

I turned around, hoping that she wouldn't notice the fact that I wasn't leaving for school but for Xavier's house.

"They told me that you missed two days in school, last week. But Luna told me you did leave for school. Could I know where were you?"

God, this is not going to end well.

I kept my bookbag aside and sat in front of her.

"I-I missed school. I wasn't feeling well. So I came home early."

Her head moved sideways in disappointment. This was normal, okay? If things end now, then it will be fine. But if th-
