章 48: Saved
Being chased by the wolves for several hours, Irene and Natasha were on their last leg. In this desperate situation, if someone didn't appear, they will surely become foods of these wolves.
Suddenly, in front of them, a group of wolves appears blocking them.
"Not good!" Natasha shouted when she realized the appearance of the wolves. Irene who was in front of her is in a very dangerous situation.
"Young lady! NO!" Natasha shouted in terror as the wolves pounce to the defenseless Irene.
Irene who saw the wolves pouncing towards her with their vicious fangs was very scared. The blood in her face immediately drained and a horrified expression shows in her face. She didn't expect that she would die being eaten by these beasts.

With her already accepting her death, Irene closes her eyes waiting for the vicious bite. However, the painful bite didn't happen as she heard a buzzing sound cutting through the air.
The wolves in front of her release a painful sound before their bodies were cut in half. Bloods splattered in Irene's face. When she opens her eyes, she saw a young man walking towards them with a carefree expression on his face.
He looks aloof and as if he didn't care for the worldly things. Irene was puzzled and amazed at how the young man carried himself.
"Young lady are you alright?" arriving beside Irene, Natasha asked with a worried expression.
"I'm fine, it seems we are saved by this young man," Irene said.
Natasha glance at the man walking towards them. In their desperate situation, this young man arrived and saved them. From the looks of the young man, she was sure that he came from an influential family. And with him easily killing the wolves, he must be a young genius.
"I thank the young master for saving us" kneeling in one knee, Natasha said gratefully and with respect. "I am Natasha a knight from the Vasselon Family. This is my-"
She wanted to introduce Irene but Irene interjected and introduce herself, "I am Irene Vasselon the young daughter of the Vasselon Family. We are here to go to the capital of the Silverwing Kingdom"
The young man was, of course, Lori who separated himself with Mia and Ushiwakamaru as he senses someone was in danger. At first, he didn't want to help. But looking at their desperate situation, he decided to save them.
"If you want to enter the capital, then follow me. Let's just wait for my little daughter to arrive" he said and started to walk towards Natasha.
Natasha noticed that the young man was walking towards her and she cast him a curious glance.
"Take off your armor"
Natasha and Irene were petrified hearing such a perverse request. Natasha's face turned grim as she draws her sword. She thought that she looks wrongly at this young man. She didn't expect that he would request such a thing.
Seeing the unnatural behavior of Natasha in front of him. Lori guesses that they misunderstand his intentions and explain. "You are injured and you continuously lose blood from your wounds. I will help you treat your injuries but first, you need to take off your armor. Because it is inappropriate with the treatment"
Because of what happened, Natasha ignores all of her injuries. But now, she started to feel the pain from her wounds. Looking down at her armor, she thought for a moment before agreeing to take it off. (Someone shouting, TAKE IT OFF! TAKE IT OFF! TAKE IT OFF!)
When the armor covering her body was removed, the chain mail under it was also removed. The only thing left was clothing wrapped around her chest area. The smooth pale white skin was exposed. Shallow and deep wounds were visible with blood coming from them.
Natasha didn't feel shy or embarrassed by showing her body. Instead, she felt pride in it as it was the result of her hard work and training. She cast a grateful look to the young man before lying down on her back.
Lori then began healing her wounds.
A warm feeling spread through her body making her face turned slightly red. A peaceful smile appeared on her face as she watches the wounds on her body close in fast speed.
Rustle!
A rustling sound came from the side alerting Irene and Natasha. They thought that it is a beast and Natasha was about to get up.
But Lori stopped her and said, "Don't worry about it just lie down"
From the side, a cute and lovely little girl jump out. A bright smile was on her face as she trots towards them with her short legs.
"Father! Mia found someone inside the forest" the little girl stands beside Lori and said cheerfully. She then looks down at Natasha and tilted her head to the side cutely with a question mark face.
After Mia appeared, Ushiwakamaru followed after her carrying something on her back. As it was covered in grass, no one really noticed what it is.
Putting the grass-covered body on the ground, Ushiwakamaru said, "Master, the young princess found her unconscious inside the forest. They should be acquaintance with each other"
She glances towards Irene and Natasha.
"Mother!"
"Mistress!"
When the grass covering the body was taken away, Irene and Natasha shouted at the same time.
Irene runs towards her mother and started to inspect her body. Feeling that her mother was still alive, Irene sigh in relief and tears falls down from her eyes. If her father really died in that assassin attack, then her mother would be her only blood relative.
"How's the mistress's condition?" Natasha asked worriedly. With the order of the mistress, she ran away with the young lady. She was so sad thinking that the mistress was already dead. Now that she saw her unconscious, she couldn't help but ask.
"She is just fine and exhausted her strength. She would regain her consciousness after resting for several hours" the one who answered were Ushiwakamaru.
Half an hour later, Natasha was already fully healed. Not even a scar remained in her body which surprise her. She looks at the young man who healed her and remembers that she didn't even know his name. "Thank you for everything that you've done for us. Can you tell me your name and I promise that I will repay this kindness in the future"
"Lori, you can call me Lori" his eyes swept around him and said, "Let's leave his place first and go to the capital. We will talk there"
Natasha immediately agreed with the decision and leave the forest with Irene while carrying her mistress.
When they arrived in front of the city gate, a long line of people was outside trying to get in. Because of the wars between the medium level kingdoms, many people wanted to take refuge in the kingdoms who were not affected. And the Silverwing Kingdom is one of those kingdoms.
A guard standing in the city wall saw Lori and immediately recognized him as the king. He quickly runs down to report it to his captain.
Suddenly, a group of guards came out of the city and walks towards Lori and the others. The people trying to get in cast a curious glance at them. They didn't know why would they suddenly come out.
"This lowly one greets his majesty and the princess!" the guard captain shouted as he kneels in front of Lori.
The other guards behind him followed his move and also shouted in unison. The people around look at Lori with a shocked and amazed expression. They didn't think that the king of the kingdom would appear here with them.
Irene and Natasha were the most shocked among all the people. The young man who saved them in the forest came to be the king of the Silverwing Kingdom.
