There were few in the kingdom who could afford the decorative silk curtains hanging between the pillars and the set of pure agarwood furniture that filled the air with a faint fragrance. Even fewer could afford the bonsai tree carved from premium jade that was sitting on a side tea table and the porcelain tea cups infused with gold veins. The curtains were a nice golden yellow—an exclusive color for the imperial family. Anyone else discovered using this particular shade of color would immediately be tried and killed for treason.
