章 64: Chapter 64 : Arrogant Blackbeard!!

A furious roar came from behind Buggy. It was Diamond Jozu, the commander of the third division of the Whitebeard Pirates, his eyes bloodshot with rage!
The rest of the Whitebeard Pirates were still caught in the heat of the battlefield, unable to escape. Only Jozu, with his immense strength, could break free without being held down by Aokiji.
"Die, Buggy the Clown!" Jozu bellowed.
He closed the distance in a flash, putting all his strength into a devastating strike aimed at Buggy!
Yet, Buggy remained indifferent, hands still casually behind his back as he kept his gaze locked on the black mist, awaiting Blackbeard's next move.
Just as Jozu's powerful blow was about to land, a flash of red light streaked through the air. A sharp red slash came from the side, striking Jozu and sending him flying!
"Diamonds... they're tough, aren't they?"
Shiryu of the Rain appeared beside Buggy, holding his bloodied sword. He frowned slightly, realizing that despite his attack, he hadn't dealt much damage to Diamond Jozu.
As Shiryu expected, Jozu quickly recovered mid-air, landing solidly on the ground. Though a deep gash marked his side, it wasn't enough to stop him.
Buggy chuckled. "He's a perfect punching bag. I doubt you could cut him down that easily!"
Shiryu remained silent. As a swordsman, there was nothing more frustrating than facing a brute like Jozu, whose diamond-hard body could withstand almost anything.
"Damn you, Teach!" Jozu growled, his anger redirected towards the real enemy.
Abandoning his attack on Buggy, Jozu charged toward Blackbeard—the man responsible for the fall of the Whitebeard Pirates.
He reached Blackbeard in an instant, throwing a mighty fist toward him. But Blackbeard only grinned, his laughter booming.
"Jozu! Perfect timing! Let me show you the true power I've gained! Hahahaha!"
As Blackbeard's laughter echoed, the black mist dissipated, revealing his bulky form.
"You're done for!" Jozu roared, lunging again.
Buggy stood with his arms crossed, shaking his head slightly at Shiryu, who was preparing to strike with his sword.
Shiryu hesitated for a moment, then, as if sensing something, loosened his grip on the blade.
Nearby, Diamond Jozu, who had been on high alert, halted his charge and turned his head, eyeing the black mist swirling ominously in the distance.
"Hahahahaha! Hahahaha!"
Blackbeard, facing Diamond Jozu's approach, showed no fear. A glowing white circle appeared around his right fist as he threw a punch to meet Diamond Jozu's incoming blow.
"What? How is this possible?"
Diamond Jozu's eyes widened in shock as he recognized the familiar white light.
Before he could react, a devastating shockwave burst from Blackbeard's fist, sending Diamond Jozu flying.
"Whitebeard's power... The Gura Gura no Mi... How?!"
Blood trickled from the corner of Diamond Jozu's mouth as he looked at Blackbeard in disbelief.
Shiryu was equally stunned, exclaiming, "Not only did he steal Whitebeard's Devil Fruit Ability, but doesn't he already possess another Devil Fruit ability? How can he wield the power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit too?"
"Isn't it impossible for someone to have two Devil Fruits?"
Buggy laughed. "That's exactly why we need to keep an eye on this sneaky bastard! He's a monster unlike any other!"
"Hahaha! Whitebeard's ability really is incredible! Come on, Jozu, let me savor this power a little longer!"
Blackbeard roared with laughter as he charged at Diamond Jozu once more.
Although Jozu was still reeling from the shock, he gritted his teeth and braced himself for Blackbeard's attack.
"Boom!"
Another punch from Blackbeard landed, sending cracks rippling through the air. Diamond Jozu coughed up blood from the impact.
Despite his Diamond-Diamond Fruit granting him formidable defense, Blackbeard's quaking power still caused significant damage, even to Jozu's diamond-coated body.
In many ways, the Tremor-Tremor Fruit was a direct counter to defensive abilities like Jozu's, which relied on sheer hardness.
"Hahahaha! Come on, let's go again!" Blackbeard shouted with triumph, feeling the surge of his newfound power. He threw another punch at Diamond Jozu.
Jozu gritted his teeth and tried to withstand the onslaught. But with each punch, Blackbeard grew more proficient in controlling the Shockwave powers, and his attacks became more powerful with every strike.
After one final blow, Blackbeard didn't immediately pull back. Instead, he twisted his hand into a claw, dark smoke swirling around it.
"Dark Water!"
Blackbeard's palm suddenly erupted with a powerful suction, pulling the unsuspecting Diamond Jozu towards him. Blackbeard seized Jozu firmly!
As Diamond Jozu tried to struggle, he noticed a peculiar force emanating from Blackbeard's palm. This force suppressed the power of the Devil Fruit within him, forcing him to revert from his Diamond Form!
"Shockwave!"
At that moment, Blackbeard's other hand swung with immense concussive force, striking Diamond Jozu with devastating impact!
The sheer power shattered the atmosphere within a radius of hundreds of meters. Diamond Jozu's mouth opened in a scream, blood gushing forth uncontrollably!
"Hahaha, hahahaha! Whitebeard is a relic of the past, and now, it's the era of Blackbeard!"
Blackbeard tossed Diamond Jozu to the ground like a ragdoll, laughing maniacally as he proclaimed his dominance!
Seeing this, Shiryu furrowed his brow and glanced at Buggy beside him, whispering, "Is it really wise to let him act like this?"
Buggy replied indifferently, "Let him enjoy his moment for now. I'll show him what despair truly is soon enough!" After a pause, Buggy added, "Besides, arrogance and recklessness have always been his greatest flaws. He's also the type who forgets what's important!"
Shiryu was momentarily taken aback but turned his gaze back to see Blackbeard still laughing uncontrollably.
Meanwhile, Diamond Jozu, who had been thrown to the ground, was now getting up furiously and aimed a powerful uppercut at Blackbeard's midsection!
