The first thing that came to my mind when he said that is the fact that I'm already carrying Christine's child and my dad is oblivious to that, he will be disappointed when he learns how anguished I was. The worst of it all would be if all these don't yield a good result.

Furthermore, I would rather not get my dad involved in this right now, I'm a grown lady after all, and I shouldn't rely on my dad to do everything for me. This is the first time I'm going to be taking a big decision without including my dad.

"Dad, what did you think? It's going great, everything is under control.'' I replied to him.

He was about to say something when the waitress brought our orders to us, and the redolence of the food almost made me run to the bathroom. This is one of the reasons I will never think of having a child. They're troublesome even when developing in the womb.
