章 2: Two bosses!?
Cindy: what are you doing here?
Cindy looked at him with vengeful eyes as if she will tear him up right now and feast on his flesh.
Alex: someone couldn't stop being troublesome early in the morning so I had to jump in.
His cold expression could freeze anyone instantly but well Cindy used to be his wife so she clearly knew how to deal with it.
Cindy: I could deal with him, you didn't have to interrupt; old habit never goes away.
Cindy threw a cold reply just like Alex. Place surrounding the station got chilly. They glared at each other, fire burning in their eyes, too many images passing in their mind till Cindy's best friend broke it.
Melissa: Alright you two, time's up! You're blocking the way! There are people who needs to go to work!
Pedestrians heaved a sigh of relief, even they got scared seeing their murderous intent.
Melissa Davis, Cindy's childhood bestfriend, who was always there for her through thick and thin. Cindy, Alex and Melissa grew up together in the same neighborhood so she knew these two perfectly and how long they can keep quarrelling. If these two agressive cat and dog isn't stopped right now people would have to stop using this entrance to the station.
Melissa held Cindy's hand and walked into the station.
Melissa: Bye Alex! See you next time!
Alex stood there for a few seconds then left.
Melissa: mmm missed your true love so much that you couldn't stop staring huh?
Cindy: Shut up! He is dead to me.
Melissa: Alright alright calm down.
Cindy: I am calm! He boils my blood. And did you see how he was grinning like a devil after punching that stupid drunkard!?
Melissa: well I got here when you two were undressing each other with your eyes.
Cindy: yeah I stripped off his skin too.
Melissa held her laugh. Cindy sighed and brushed off her thoughts.
Cindy: where are you going?
Melissa: pet shop.
Cindy: So you finally decided to sell yourself.
Melissa: haha you're so funny Andy!! I almost laughed!

After all the hassle Cindy finally reached her destination but who knew devil would be standing at the gate. Cindy hurried inside but a stone cold voice asked her to stop. She clearly knew whose voice it was as it sent shiver down her spine.
Cindy: Good morning... boss... today is such a lovely day! Isn't it!?
Cindy laughed nervously. There was not a single bit of smile on his face. After a few seconds of silence under this snowstorm, boss asked sternly, "Today's the 3rd day you're late Miss Anderson. What's your excuse this time?"
The air was suffocating, everyone was working but there wasn't a single person who wasn't shaking from fear.
Cindy: I slept late last night for the new article that will be issued today. There was a huge traffic so I couldn't take the bus and while I was going to the train station I had a fight...
Cindy was well known for her kind and honest behavior.
Boss couldn't hold it in and burst into a laugh. Everyone was shocked. Why is their cold as ice boss laughing? Cindy thought, 'I should've drank my favourite coffee, death is knocking at my door'. Suddenly another stern voice said "you did it again."
Everyone turned their heads and gasped so hard as if some drama was going on and the villain was caught during treachery.
Everyone straightened their back as if they're in military training... there's two bosses!?
: oh brother you're here already..
Boss: when will you stop pretending to be me in front of people?
There wasn't a single expression on his face. He looked as hard as rock.
: I was just messing with your employees. Take a chill pill.
Air was filled with confusion.. boss has a twin brother? not just that, he is totally opposite!!
: Good morning everyone! I am Alan Shepherd. Mark's twin brother it was nice meeting you all.
The shock was still there.. no one could move, slowly they said good morning. The Brothers walked away but still no one could move a single step. After a few seconds they all got back to reality and started working so hard as if there's no tomorrow. Slowly Cindy walked to her table and burried her face in her hands.
Such a bad day it is..
