"Checkmate."
5 minutes.
5 short minutes was all it took for Obito to both learn the game, which wasn't much different than Shoji, and outsmart Sona with ease.
Sona's eyes were widened intensely. She just did not understand what happened just know. "I-I don't... what?" She went over all of her moves and saw nothing wrong with them. The game had barely started and he didn't even look like he knew what he was doing. He barely moved any pieces and yet, her King was cornered.
"Does our agreement still stand?"
An chagrin look crossed her face but the calm Uchiha didn't notice. "I-you must have cheated somehow! There's no way that you beat me when you didn't know how to play a minute ago!"
"I'm a quick learner." He said passively. "Now let's get done to business. Our agreement?"
Red-faced the petite devil reigned her emotions inside and covered her mouth that cough in it awkwardly. "I suppose you won and winning only once was our deal. I'll have you admitted by tomorrow."
"Thank you for honoring our agreement." He was about to get up and leave when she called to him.
"I can tell you have no place to stay. That can be arranged for you as well." She held up her surrounded King. "But only if you beat me again."

Obito looked around the two story house with fascination as Sona closed the door behind them. Many of the objects that were here were familiar from his world but way more high tech. He wouldn't mind tinkering with it a bit to see how it worked.
"This is my home and you will be staying here with me." She stated calmly and Obito turned to her.
"Why?" He asked. She didn't even know him other than the fact that he was human and was better than her a chess.
Her cheeks reddened slightly at the question and she pulled her glasses up closer to her face. "Because you do not have a place to stay and you beat me again." It was even shorter than last time with her only lasting 3 minutes. The look upon her face at the moment was priceless.
She showed him all around her house. It was essentially a tour though Obito only acknowledged escape routes in case of emergency. She also showed him a room that already had the essentials in it. All he needed was to put his own touch upon it though he was likely to keep it largely the same. Maybe a storage for his weapons wouldn't be bad inside the large closet.
Shortly after he was left to his own devices. He decided to get some rest and go over all the words Sona had told him. It would do well to keep up with all the happenings of this world.

Gruffly, the Uchiha slid a backpack onto his back. "Why do I have to wear this get up anyway?" He asked Sona as they walked together into the gates of the school. It had taken him a while to force himself to put on the uniform and now he had this big backpack to deal with.
"It is the uniform of our school one you wanted to be admitted in. Do not complain." She said using her eyes to watch the students around her whisper among themselves, though she heard everything they said. Seems like he was already gaining his own little fan club.
Hn," he grunted but said nothing more. He ignored the whispering children and kept following Sona. It was silence for several moments until it was broken.
"I have a quest to ask of you." She said without turning around. "Do you remember how you ended up injured?"
He did remember though it was a bit scattered. His mind wasn't in the right place nor was he participating paying attention to his actions. But he did remember the boy he tried to save and that women. He told her as much.
"Yes, that woman you fought was a Fallen Angel."
"A Fallen Angel, huh?" That was why she had black wings Obito realized. But she was also able to use piercing light based weapons. It made sense. "Do you know where I can find her? She and I have some business to settle."
"She is not the concern. It is the boy you saved."
"The boy? What of him? He is a human, correct?"
"He was. He has been turned into a devil." Obito to his credit showed no sign of surprise.
"So like you?" He asked. After he had beaten her at chess she had told him what she was and where she came from. He took that fairly well too. He had fought a god and became one himself. Too many things couldn't surprise him anymore but he did expect Devils to look a lot different.
"Yes. As I've told you before, we Devils have a peerage that could be made of reincarnated Devils or born ones." She explained. "One can be reincarnated if the wish to be or if they would be granted to."
"And you do those with the Evil Pieces, right?" He asked. "If so then you tried to resurrect me into a Devil. Any reason it didn't work?" The topic had gained his curiosity.
"Yes to your first question." She answered, stopping and turning to look at him slowly when he stopped after her. "And to your second, I'm still trying to figure that out."
They stood staring at each other before Obito broke it. "We should get moving, shouldn't we?"
She turned and began walking. "Yes, of course."

Obito's first class wasn't too interesting but what was was that he saw the brown-haired boy he attempted to save. And he was not expecting the boy to act the way he did. He was a pervert through and through, perhaps more than Jiraiya. All he thought about were girls' private parts and why he couldn't get a chick. The only interesting thing that came from his mouth was how he described this Yuuma girl.
It was obvious that it had been the same girl to attack him but what really surprised him were the fact that no one remembered her. His two perverted friends seemed to not have a single clue of what he was talking about, calling him crazy and such.
That was interesting. Could she erase memories of her from certain people? If so, then how come he still remembers. Was there a limit or something else? Theories poured into his head as he used his mind to think of every possibility. Of all his information he didn't think of much but that was only the start.
He would ask Sona if he knew where she was but he didn't so he was on his own. After thinking, he knew the principals office would be the best way to find the information he was looking for. He needed to see if their were any records on this 'Yuuma' persona.
It was lunchtime when the Uchiha had been able to sneak away from his classes. It would've been easy if fangirls didn't track his every movement like a Inuzuka dog. Honestly, he didn't know how Kakashi was able to deal with such a thing. He was looking through the drawer when a voice was surprisingly able to startle him.
He looked up from his findings to see Sona looking at him with an unreadable expression. But what caught his attention were the other two he heard so much about. Being a male student in the school had one practically learn everything about the female population and the rumors around them. One had crimson red hair and blue eyes and the other had long black hair and violet eyes.
"What are you doing here?" Sona asked. "Lunch started 8 minutes ago."
Obito only closed the drawer and began gathering his chakra. He was going to use Kamui to escape this if need be. He didn't know how dangerous Sona was; only knowing she was a Devil and even then he didn't know her abilities.
"Fufufu," the black-haired girl chuckled, holding a hand to her mouth. "Keeping a maiden in love waiting is bad Obito-kun. She's been waiting to eat with you."
A deep red spread across Sona's cheeks and she whirled around to face Akeno with a glare. "T-That's not it!"
Another chuckle erupted from the girl. "Sure it isn't."
A growl escaped Sona's mouth but the redhead interjected. "Now, now Akeno. Leave her alone. Obito-kun here hasn't answered our question yet."
They know my name somehow. And they're with Sona. Their possibility of being Devils has skyrocketed.
"I'm simply looking for information on this 'Yuuma' girl. Issei's little group didn't remember her at all. It gained my curiosity."
Sona leveled him with a stern glare. "I thought I told you she was of no concern. She'll be dealt with accordingly."
"As most would say, curiosity kills the cat." Akeno stated holding up a finger.
Obito ignored her. "What are you doing to deal with it accordingly? You've been here all day."
She closed her eyes with an air of superiority. "That is something I will not discuss. Please exit and refrain from getting yourself involved in this. As I said before, she'll be dealt with accordingly."
Obito's eyes narrowed but he said nothing more as he walked past the trio. He would have to take his own actions in the shadows if he wanted to learn how he was going to save this world. He needed information. If trouble followed this Issei boy then all he'd have to do was be his watchful eye.

As soon as school had ended Obito immediately went into following Issei wherever he went. He watched his interactions with this nun looking girl. He wondered if she was an Angel and how come they looked as if they knew each other. It was like they were on a date.
Interesting.
He continued to spy being as stealthy as possible. He knew that the two he was spying on weren't likely to find out about him but he didn't know if Sona or those other two were doing their own investigation. Being found out by one of those three could be bad news. Luckily, he had the Transformation Jutsu which he used to turn into Tobi. That would at least take some suspicious off him but not all as he wouldn't be at Sona's house.
His eyes narrowed. That was probably why she kept him there. To watch his movements.
They looked to be at the end of their date when 'Yuuma' had appeared before them, demanding that the Nun she named Asia to return to her.
Watching the scene play out Obito thought, Asia, huh? So she's a Fallen Angel. She doesn't act anything like 'Yuuma'. The more the Uchiha listened in he found out about even more information. Fallen Angels usually manipulated humans and humans can be born with Sacred Gears which were basically Kekkei Genkai if he equaled it to his world. He also learned that they were being hunted down just like Jinchuriki.
After getting his fill of information he decided to intervene when a spear of light raced through the air and aimed to pierce Issei. He leaped off the tree branch he was hiding on and reached Issei before the spear of light could move any further. His earlier assumption was correct, he was much faster than her. He grabbed a hold of Issei and used the Body Flicker to gain distance before the light smashed into the ground.
"W-what..." Issei muttered. He didn't know what just happened.
"Issei." Asia wimpered.
"What the hell was that?!" 'Yuuma demanded. She knew that wasn't Issei. He was a loser lowly Devil. When the smoke cleared she could see a man dressed in a black and red robe with clouds in it with an orange spiral over his face. She knew it was him that had saved the loser. "Who are you?"
The figure ignored her but kept his eye on her. "Issei, Asia get away from here now."
"How do you know my name? Who are you?" Issei asked, gaping. This man had saved him.
He ignored the question and began walking to the flying Fallen Angel. "My name is of no relevance, but the information you could give me is. Make this easier on yourself and save me some time."
Despite the warning, she chuckled. "Oh, so that's how it is. You think you're better than me!" She yelled launching her fastest spear of light at him. To say she was both shocked and confused when the spear went through his body and carved into the ground was an understatement. "W-what?"
She muttered but that was only what she could do as she was sent flying back and smashing into a tree with a kick sent into her abdomen. Issei and Asia looked surprised of the speed and strength of the mysterious man as 'Yuuma' began to get up.
"T-this much pain... from one hit." She managed to utter, having extreme difficulty getting to her feet. The kick and landing seemed to have cracked a few ribs and did a number on her internal organs.
But she had no more time to breath as the Masked Man had grabbed her by her dark locks. "Pitiful." He muttered and for the first time she saw his eye through the hole in his mask. The red angry looking eye flared back at her before shifting into a pinwheel. She could only open her mouth to try and scream for help when a vortex around his eye began sucking her into it. But the scream didn't come out as she disappeared from the world.
"W-what just happened?" Issei asked in a stutter, clutching the just as scared Nun tightly. They both backed away when his mask landed on them.
He looked to be looking at Issei but soon disappeared into a spiraling void.

"Pl-Please stop!" 'Yuuma' yelled as another spear went through her arm. When she woke she was chained onto a wooden circle and stung up like a piñata. She couldn't feel an ounce of her power and couldn't move as multiple Masked Men stabbed her repeatedly with long spears.
She cried out when another went into her thigh. All around her was a dark cloudy sky but she was able to see only because of the giant red eye that was somehow in the sky that the man possessed, shining brightly like the sun. Where was she.
She begged once more before another spear was lodged into her shoulder and she cried out in pain.
In truth, she was just in a Genjutsu that Obito could put on anyone entering his dimension without his eyes. He was extracting information from her mind as she remained in the Genjutsu. He didn't need to put her in the nightmare illusion but it was too tempting to pass up. Though it was a little extreme, he knew she deserved it.
Once he got all the information he was looking for, he left her in the dimesion for later. She needed to suffer a bit more and he needed to see Sona. He didn't need her becoming suspicious.
He activated his Doujutsu and teleported back to earth. When he came to he was in front of Sona's house. He deactivated the transformation technique and casually walked to the door, knocking on it. As he waited for it to open he thought back to the information he had gained.
Their were more Fallen Angels that were aiming to both kill Issei and capture Asia. They were aiming to use her Sacred Gear Twilight Healing to get stronger. He also had more information on the all three factions which would only help him. He needed to find the cause of the wars in this world so he could find a way to stop the conflict.
An idea formed into his head. The Akatsuki. The idea, the true meaning of the group was forming a new dawn. The group that Yahiko created; the one he took over. This time he would collect members from all races and connect them under a single goal. That goal would be world peace. And he already had one member.
The door opened and he looked at a displeased Sona. Of course he said nothing about the look.
"Where did you go after school?" She asked moving aside to let him walk inside.
Removing the backpack of his back, he responded. "Minding my own business. It'd do you well to try it."
"You don't have yo be rude about it." Sona said crossing her arms. "Remember that you're request to enter the school was only permitted because of my status."
"It was permitted because I beat you in chess. Don't flatter yourself." The embarrassed look that crossed her features would make anyone laugh. Though Obito only remained passive.
"Whatever," she muttered walking away into the kitchen while he sat on the living room couch, watching the tv with mild interest. She came back shortly with something that looked like a cake. He gave it a disinterested glance.
"And what's that?"
"It is what I've cooked earlier for you to try. But you didn't return right after school." That last bit was added with a small glare from the girl. Why she cared where he was so much was beyond him.
He held out a hand. "I'll try it. Give it here." She passed him the cake and watched with a neutral expression as he looked it over. Despite that he could see in her eyes that she was eagerly waiting for his response with a hopeful look.
Slowly he slipped the sweet into his mouth and chewed. It was awful. The flavors didn't mix well and made it taste more sour than the sweet she was looking for. He was able to keep his face from showing any emotion which only made her anticipation worse. He wanted to sigh at this childlike antic but made up his mind as he forced to food down his throat.
"It was delicious." He said simply but he saw the delight that appeared on her face. A small blush even appeared on her check which only confused him more.
"Than you would not mind eating the rest would you?"
A angry growl from his stomach screamed no but his consciousness screamed even louder. He sighed inwardly. "Of course." Then he took another wretched bite.
