The water was running on the floor as the tap was open and the whole floor was wet. The house was in shambles, broken chairs were all over the place and everything was ransacked. A boy who was just 15 years of age was sitting on a ripped sofa and crying his heart out in grief. He couldn't wrap his head around how this thing happened, why he was being punished.
" Mom, Dad, why did you leave me? Whyyyy? "
He cried and cried and fell asleep on the sofa.
His parents Augustus and Lauren were coming back from a relative's house and their car crashed into a truck and fell over from an overbridge. At the same time, his house was robbed and everything was taken. At the time of this incident, Jim was in school and when he went to his house there were people standing in front of the home. He passed by them and saw that the house was unrecognizable, the door was broken, windows smashed and the trees in the garden all uprooted. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. What happened? How could this happen in broad daylight?
The police investigation was slow and they concluded that it was an organized and carefully planned robbery and the accident was also not normal, but there was no proof and evidence in the crime scene. Whoever did this was not some random burglar. The invisible chains are wrapped around the accident. After the incident, Jim stayed with his uncle. He was not the same person anymore. He was emotionally unstable and he had constant nightmares about that incident. He had two conflicting feelings rising inside his mind. Firstly he wanted to avenge his parent's death. He wanted to give those bastards who did this to him and his family, a neverending torture and pay for their crimes with their blood. The second feeling was his vulnerable side that wanted to forget everything that happened. Eventually, after some time his mind calmed down. He focused all his grief and sadness and directed towards his studies. When he entered college he was one of the top students. Because he was so well known a lot of students wanted to be friends with him but he was not so friendly. He never talked with anyone. He always focused on his studies and his new hobby.
After coming to college Jim was very weak, due to psychological problems he couldn't eat properly and only focused on studying all time. He never went out. One day when he was leaving class a girl came up to him.
" Can I talk to you for a bit ?"
I looked around, there was no one beside me there.
"Are you talking to me ?"
"Who else, do you see anyone around you right now ?" She chuckles after hearing him stutter.
"Uhhmm…what do you want to talk about ?" I asked.
" I am having trouble finishing my assignment, so I was hoping you would help me understand some concepts. If you are busy, then it's alright. I asked others but they said it was too difficult for them. I knew you got the best grades last semester, so I thought you could help me clear up my doubts. " She looked at me with pleading eyes.
I barely talked to anyone so why is she asking for my help. I know I am good but there are other students as well, even girls. Why would she ask for my help instead of theirs?
I was a suspicious person. After my parents passed away I was always alone, not because nobody talked to me or didn't want to be friends. No, I was alone because I chose to be alone.
I always pushed away people who tried to come near me. I didn't want to be too attached to them in case I felt lonely after they were gone. I chose to be alone rather than being lonely.
But after coming to college I thought I needed to open up. But as I was too occupied with my studies and I was used to being alone I didn't bother approaching people. You could say I had a better relationship with my professors rather than with my classmates. I thought this was a great opportunity.
" Sure.. "
" So are you free right now, we could go to the library."
" Yeah .. sure"
I heard when girls interact with a guy they are nervous and awkward. But I felt nothing but curiosity about this situation. Is this normal? Thinking about this I looked over to her. She was about my height, maybe one inch shorter. Her figure was pretty good and she had decently big breasts. Her ass is pretty good too. Shit, what am I thinking? get your head out of the gutter.
I took a deep breath and walked to the library. After sitting in a corner we opened our assignments. I also had some unfinished assignment that was fairly simple. I did the hard ones in my room. I helped her out on her assignment, to be honest, this was an advanced problem so her coming to me was the right decision. I knew there were only a couple of students in our freshmen year who could have solved this.
After we finished all our assignments it was already 3 hours. We went outside the library, the sun was setting on the horizon. She looked at me.
" You sure are hard to understand, but I want to know about you more ."
" Oh, so you are hitting on me now ?"
" What do you think ?" She smirked at me.
" I heard girls like smart guys that they can't understand, only to conquer them and make them househusbands."
" You are really funny."
We walked together to her dorm. She looked back at me before going and we looked at each other for some time.
" Aren't you going?" I asked.
She smiled at me, then suddenly she kissed my left cheek.
" If you open up more we can go further.."
She ran away after saying that. My heart was beating fast, I wasn't feeling anything before but after she kissed me after her soft juicy lips touched my skin my whole body felt a jolt.
I walked down the street after leaving her dorm to buy some groceries. My heart was still beating. I was crossing the road when a blinding light came from my left. I instinctively backed off but it was too late.
