Markos closed his eyes, focusing on the way the Word flowed through him, reinvigorating him as hundreds of voices whispered in ancient tongues, words he couldn't understand. The images came unbidden —a grand white heartstone temple bathed in silver light, a vast snowy expanse at the pase of a purple mountain holding the moon, and a towering figure glad in midnight armor with eyes glittering like starlight. The vision shifted away before any one detail became too clear ending on a blurry figure, clutching a blade that radiated frigid darkness. 

He opened his eyes with a gasp. "The temple guardians aren't the only beings we'll face. Someone else is after the fragment. Someone who somehow, already has a weapon forged from this power."

"The Church is already on the move?" Caelyn's jaw tightened. "Then we'll need to move fast. If they get there first…"
