章 29: Naruto Uzumaki
When Kaito finished up treating Iruka his wounds they both started to run and catch up.
"How many are still there?", asked Iruka with a worried face.
"...8 with Mizuki. But they are only at lower genin rank barely able to use and ninjutsu.", replied Kaito.
"I see...Why did he have to involve other people...?" Iruka sounded a little bit sad that Mizuki also got others to help him even if they were not as strong as him.
But his face shortly after changed into a frown. No, he probably manipulated them to do this. Even if people are hurt one should not use that to pursue their own agenda.
"Many people dislike us...And the Kyuubi-Incident didn't make it better. Iruka-sensei....You should know it best how it feels. Now imagine how others think that they do not know us. They would gladly run at the chance to hunt us. Even more so to kill..."
"You are right...I know how it feels. But it is still not right. I can't let that happen..." Then he made a flabbergasted expression. "Wait! You knew!?" His head was aimed at Kaito.
"Not now...I will explain later how much I know." Kaito did not want to start that discussion at the moment.
Then he saw the 7 dots gather at a certain spot. It was the genin. "Looks like they split. Iruka-sensei, move in that direction. I can feel Mizuki there. It's probably better that we also transform ourselves into Naruto. Like that we trick them and get an advantage. I will go that way and apprehend the other guys. I should be able to manage them."
At first, he thought to beat the hell out of Mizuki but then he thought about the bonding moment for Naruto. It would be better to let that event unfold so he decided to take care of those traitors.
"But...Fine. But if it gets too dangerous you better run. I will try and take care of Mizuki as fast as possible." Iruka wanted to object at first but still agreed.
Kaito only nodded and they both split paths at the next tree.

Soon Iruka that was disguised as Naruto was approached by another Iruka.
"Naruto! Hurry! Throw the scroll over to me! Mizuki is after you!" The disguised Mizuki did noth yet know of the trick and therefore thought such words would work on him.
But what he received was a body slam from Iruka.
The fake Iruka landed rather hard on the ground looked angry. "How...You little pest. How did you figure out I was not Iruka?" Mizuki transformed back into his own appearance.
"Hmpf, that is because I am Iruka." Iruka snorted and transformed back as well.
Mizuki grimaced and stood back up. "....I see. But you sure got another clean hit."
"Huh!?" Iruka looked at his abdomen and saw another three kunai inside it. And he felt rather weak on his feet and stumble back against a tree behind him.
"Really now. I wasted that precious poison on you now even though I thought I got you immobilized. I must say I don't know how you healed yourself that fast but it doesn't matter.", commented Mizuki on his rather quick recovery.
"Poison...damn it...You really are different the more I look at you..." Iruka felt the numbness inside his body now.
"Well, you sure made a move. To even transform into him. The one that killed your parents."
"I would do everything so taht you wont get to Naruto nor the scroll."
"Idiot, Naruto is the same as me. He probably already opened up the scroll. And with the skills inside of it he can do whatever he wants. Even revive the dead. So there is no way he would not think about using the power within the scroll."
Now Mizuki started to laugh. "Bringing back his parents. Isn't it something every orphan would love to? Even you would do that. Am I not right, Iruka?"
"What are you saying!"
"I am only telling the truth. And as soon as I get my hands on that scroll I will fulfill my plans. Maybe I will even let you be a sacrifice and help me on my path."
"You became a complete lunatic! There is no such Jutsu! And even if there was. It may be used by the demon fox. But not by Naruto. He is a shinobi of this village. I acknowledged him as one of my excellent students." Iruka his breath became thinner and he struggled to get his words out.
"He is one of the hardest worker. He never gives up on what he does. Sure, he is clumsy and not many accept him. But one thing is certain. He already knows what it is to feel pain inside your heart. That is why he would never act as you think. He isn't the demon fox. I trust him. After all...he is Naruto Uzumaki of the leaf. The one to become Hokage!" After those words, Iruka coughed up some blood.
Now Mizuki his face became even uglier from that speech. "How pitiful. Fine, whatever. I did say I would take care of you later, but I changed my mind, Iruka."
Mizuki took his last huge shuriken and attacked Iruka again. "Hurry up and die then!"
But just when he charged at Iruka a shadow rushed out of from the side and slammed into Mizuki with a knee to his face.
That sent him rather far back. But most importantly away from Iruka.
"You!!! You shouldn't have done that!!" Mizuki´s anger spiked and the only thing he could think of at the moment was to kill Naruto. So he stood up slowly and glared at Naruto.
Naruto on the other side prepared for a fight and put the scroll to the side. "Don't you dare touch Iruka-Sensei!! I will kill you!!", he exclaimed with a cold and angry face.
"You idiot! Why did you come out!? Run away!", shouted Iruka with his last strength to do so. The poison already is pretty deep inside his system.
"AHAHAHA! I will kill you damn brat with just one move! But I am really thankful for you to come out so I can kill both of you idiots.", laughed Mizuki it off.
"Try it you trash! I will return the pain a thousand times over! ", said Naruto calmly.
"Then do it, demon fox spawn!!", shouted
And that moment Naruto performed his specialty. The Thousand men shadow clone Jutsu. Beeing accurate there was just a lot of him. If there were exactly thousand is another story.
