章 20: The Truth

"Hey, can you pass me your sword?"I asked one of the Anbu, looking at the Hokage he nodded so and passed me his Katana. Grabbing it I cut off Danzo's arm from his shoulder down stunning everyone, then I stuck my hand in his right eye socket and pull out Shisui's Sharingan.

"There, now he's not a threat as long as he doesn't use his suicide technique, should probably seal his Chakra so he doesn't."I said, bringing them out their stupor at seeing me cut off his arm and pull out his eye brutally.

"Y-Yeah, Anbu, take him and seal his Chakra."Hiruzen said over a stutter of surprise. Taking out a Jar I had in my pouch and I put Shisui's Sharingan in there and rip out the other Sharingan from the arm and put it in the Jar as well before throwing the arm to Hiruzen which he caught.

"I'll give these back to Sasuke later, give that back to Tsunade for Danzo's soon execution, I believe she'll want to be here for it. Now if you'll follow me, Lord Hokage, I'll show you to where more evidence is."I said and guided them to Danzo hideout where I see Root ninja tied up and knocked out at one spot with half the Hyuga we brought watching them just in case. Walking further in I see Dad in the room that had the seals.

"Were you able to take down all the seals?"I asked him and he nodded.

"Yes! We got rid of all the seals in the area just in case as well!"He said with a thumbs up and his signature blinding smile while I just nodded in response.

"Great, well all the evidence you need of his crimes is right here, so I hope you do what needs to be done."I said before walking home. Going in the house I look for Sasuke and find him in his room.

"Hey, Sasuke."I greeted him, alerting him to my presence.

"Hey Ryu, what's up?"He asked me.

"There's, something I need to talk to you about."I said and sat beside him.

"What's wrong?"

"You remember how, Itachi, killed your clan, right?"I asked slowly and he got a scowl on his face.

"I'll never forget it, so what's this about?"He asked me.

"You see, Itachi didn't do it to test his own strength, he did it to protect you, and Konoha, and let me explain before you blow up at me."I said, and began to tell him how the Uchiha were planning a rebellion, and Itachi was presented between two options, one, to kill his Clan and leave Sasuke alive, or let Danzo kill all Uchiha off himself to stop the rebellion he was planning. Itachi, out of his love for Sasuke, chose the first option, to kill off his entire clan, just to save Sasuke and stop Konoha from being destroyed.

"Ryu, I, I need time to think."Was the only thing he said after my explanation, and I see him go through a torment of emotions. deciding it's best to leave him alone, I leave him to his thoughts.

(Next Day)

Waking up, I hear a knock on the front door. Going to check it out, I open the door and see an Anbu.

"Lord Hokage will give an announcement in 2 hours, please be there."He said and I nodded before he disappeared in a body flicker. Going back inside I start to prepare our food, seeing them walk in I see Naruto as energetic as always and Sasuke with bags under his eyes, guess he really has been thinking about what I told him, can't blame him though from the fact that what I revealed must've changed how he viewed the whole situation.

"Good morning, Ryu."Naruto said.

"Morning."He said tiredly.

"Good morning to you guys to, in two hours Hokage is gonna give an announcement, so be ready for it by then."I said and they both nodded before we sat that down and started eating after I served them their food.

(Two Hours Later)

Arriving at the crowd in front of the Hokage Tower, I see Hiruzen there with Koharu and Homura.

"What do you think it's about?"Naruto asked.

"Just wait Naruto."I said and he groaned in response before going silent, after a couple more minutes he started his announcement.

"Today, Citizens of Konoha, I'm here to tell you of the crimes of a man, who will be executed."Hiruzen said gaining whispers and murmurs between the people of the crowd, wondering who the person is.

"That person, is Danzo Shimura."Hiruzen announced, gaining more noise from the crowd.

"In a weeks time, he shall be executed, where his crimes will be said to the public, that's all."He said before walking off till we can't see him anymore. The people start talking between themselves openly now, but over time the crowd dispersed.
