章 22: Wave mission [5]
After that day nearly 2 weeks have passed, Naruto nearly replaced half of Gato's goons with his transformed goons. Sasuke was high in his sharingan that he always called Naruto to spar, but he was totally ignored and only finished tree walking. Kakashi was doing his best to get Sasuke back to training everytime he went to challenge Naruto. Tazuna was building the bridge with the help of Inari and some of Naruto's clones.
Inari nearly changed the hearts of half of the people. Sakura learned to water walk but was not mastered, everyday she will faint from chakra exhaustion many times to increase her reserves. She learned the basic genjutsu. She was loosing her fangirling attitude little by little, but there was still remnants of that inside her. Naruto's chakra control was decreased dramatically due to to merging of Naruto's and Kurama's chakra, so he spent his whole time in chakra control.
When Naruto was doing his daily morning exercise he could sense Haku was nearby.
*(What is Haku doing now?)* {*(Speaking to a shadow)*}
*(He is collecting medicinal herbs right now)*
Hearing that Naruto ran through the trees, sensing Haku nearby he slowed down. Walking towards the place filled with flowers, he could see Haku to his left. He just casually went in like strolling through the woods. Haku saw Naruto and tensed, Naruto seeing this put on his act and went to Haku.
"Nee chan what are you doing here? It's not safe to be alone around here" Naruto said totally acting.
"Uh, I will be okay Mr. Ninja. I just want to collect some herbs." Haku was slightly relieved.
"Then I'll help you. I'm Naruto Uzumaki Naruto" Naruto went and collected some herbs.
"You can call me Haku" Haku was internally cautious.
"Can I talk to Zabuza before you guys attack next time. I need to talk to him" Naruto said casually shocking Haku. The latter then went into a fighting stance.
"Relax if I want to attack him I would be in your hideout now with you being here, I'm a sensor, I just want to talk so I came to you" Naruto said and calmly sat down totally defenseless for making Haku trust him.
"Why should I believe you?" Haku asked without changing stance. Naruto sighed and told Haku their movement for the past week proving that he could have killed whenever he want.
"Fine, I trust you to only talk and no funny business" Haku said lowering his defenses.
"Okay lead the way. Before that, I'm want to ask you something very important" Naruto stood and asked in a serious tone. Haku tensed at his seriousness and nodded.
"Are you a boy or a girl" Naruto asked with a finger in her chin.
"I'm a boy" Haku said while giggling.
"Good" Naruto said while nodding and walked towards the hideout.
-At Zabuza's hideout-
Zabuza was currently resting and planning for tomorrow's attack while he heard a familiar knock on the door. He immediately recognized it as Haku and said to Enter. Opening the door he saw Haku entering with some herbs, he was then shocked to see a familiar red headed blonde behind Haku.
"What is the meaning of this?" Zabuza was enraged and took his sword to fight.
"Calm down mummy mam, I'm not here to fight. I just want to talk and exchange information" Naruto said while sitting in a chair nearby.
"It's true Zabuza sama, he could have killed us if want to, but he choose not to" Haku reassured. Naruto could feel he was hesitating since he can sense emotions.
"You can trust me, I'm even unarmed" Naruto said lifting his hands.
"What do you want to talk about?" Zabuza asked with his sword in his hand.
"What did Gato promised to pay you? and why does he need this place?" Naruto asked.
"Hmph, why should I tell you?" Zabuza asked. Naruto took a sealing scroll out of his pocket, seeing this Zabuza and Haku tensed and got into a fighting stance. Seeing that Naruto chuckled and unsealed the goon out of the scroll and woke him up. The goon woke up, seeing Zabuza he was smiling.
"Zabuza san, thank you for saving me, I'm one of Gato's guys" he said, when he looked at Naruto he paled and tried to escape, but it was a waste.
"What is this supposed to mean kid?" Zabuza grumbled.
"Why don't you tell him what you told us?" Naruto asked the goon with his famous evil grin. The goon gulped and told them everything he told Team 7 in fear of Naruto's genjutsu. Naruto then knocked him out and sealed him again.
"Hmph, I can take care of Gato if he tries to betray me" Zabuza said with a confident grin.
"Can you risk your life on line like that?" Naruto asked knowing the answer.
"Hn, I am a shinobi kid, my life is always on the risk" Zabuza said.
"Can you risk Haku's life like that?" Naruto asked, to which Zabuza's confidence became low and he was worried, Naruto caught on to that.
"I'm Zabuza's tool, I'll gladly die for his sake" Haku told with sincerity.
"Haaa then why Zabuza was worried about what I said. Before you refuse it Zabuza, I can sense other's emotions" to what Naruto said Haku was surprised and confused about that and was confirmed by Zabuza's silence.
"Looks like Zabuza saw didn't see you as a tool, but as a family" Naruto cleared Haku's confusion. He could see Haku's tear of happiness in his eyes.
"Argh... What do you plan to do kid" Zabuza tried to change the topic, seeing clearly through his thought Naruto and Haku chuckled.
"Do you know why Gato want this place" Naruto asked to which Zabuza shock his head and said no.
"Then come to attack us tomorrow like usual and let's ambush Gato and his men together. I'll pay you double of what Gato promised" Naruto said.
"Fine kid, now get out of here" Zabuza put down his blade.
"One thing, you tried to assassinate the Mizukage, I know it's for bloodline purge, why did he do it?" Naruto asked.
"You are too intelligent to your own safety kid. I tried to kill him because Yagura was a puppet and was controlled by someone with a sharingan. He wore a black cloak with red clouds" Zabuza said.
'Naruto it might be the same guy that released me from your mother' Kurama who heard the whole conversation replied in Naruto's mind.
'Naruto be careful' Minato added. Naruto just nodded.
"He's Sanbi Jinchuriki. So you want to get some money to support the resistance, right?" hearing what Naruto said both Zabuza and Haku were shocked.
"Looks like I'm too intelligent for my own good huh?" Naruto just chuckled and went to his team to inform the plan.
"Uzumaki Naruto huh?" Zabuza and Haku chuckled at the place Naruto were standing at.
-At Tazuna's house-
Naruto arrived at Tazuna's house to see everyone were getting ready for breakfast.
"Where did you go Naruto? I thought you were exercising, but you were not there" Sakura questioned curiously, Kakashi lowered his book and looked at Naruto.
"Let's eat first. I'm starving" Naruto said and sat near the table.
"Food is ready" Tsunami said with a smile.
In a few minutes everyone started eating.
"Kakashi sensei I met with Zabuza today" hearing Naruto Kakashi nearly chocked in his food. Naruto smiled as he got the expression he wanted.
"What do you mean Naruto? Explain" Kakashi asked. Naruto explained how he met the masked shinobi, and went to their hide out, convincing Zabuza, making a deal with them for tomorrow.
"Tazuna san tell your people tomorrow is leave and we will go to bridge tomorrow for the final showdown" Tazuna nodded and went to inform others. Only Team 7 in the dining room.
"Now that's done I need to tell you guys something. It's a S-rank secret" everyone got serious hearing Naruto. He then told them about Mizukage being controlled. Kakashi was frozen about the same person who released kyuubi, Sakura was showing 'what does that have to do with us' face.
"IMPOSSSIBLE!!!" Sasuke shouted.
"Damn when did you become a banshee like Sakura. Calm down we're guest here. What I said is true" Naruto said.
"It's an S-rank secret, don't go anywhere saying this information to anybody, might even cause 4th ninja war" Naruto said.
