章 33: Ch 33 : Dan's fate
" Dan, don't lie. When the last family member of "Tsunade died", weren't you there to console Tsunade? Don't you know how she was very touched by your action back then?"
Chisaki's voice filled the space.
Regarding all these questions, Tsunade could only be frozen in the spot. She hoped that all of this was just a dream, and Dan would deny these words of Chisaki.
However, Reality was very cruel to Tsunade.
Dan, who has been tortured by Chisaki and the Third Kazekage, was no longer the Dan she knew, and he could not see Chisaki's trick.
" No.. It was all because of Hokage-sama order. In fact, she really deserved to have her last family member be killed. After all, who would.."
Dan hadn't even finished his words yet, but at this time, Tsunade felt like time has stopped.
So.. everything was just a ploy, huh?
So from the start, Dan was only there for her because of the Hokage's order.
Tsunade felt really stupid.
All her happiness before was just the Hojage's plot, and she could only laugh in mockery.
A single tear flowed down from her eyes, but she quickly wiped it out as now only rage and anger filled her eyes.
Some of you might think Tsunade would not be that stupid to believe Dan's words, but you must know that Tsunade was an experienced ninja.
She could identify which was a lie and which was true and whether it was really Dan or not.
Even if she couldn't see Dan's face or state, she could see that there was no lie in his words.
And from the few conversations before, Tsunade could conclude that every word Dan said here was the truth, and all these years, he was just acting to make her happy.
Without wasting any more time, Tsunade walked step by step toward the cell in which Dan was detained and lifted the cover that covered Dan's cell.
" Ah.. Tsunade I.."
Dan was certainly startled. After saying all those things, he never thought that the real Tsunade would be here with him, and all that mess was just simply Chisaki tricking him.
Unfortunately for Dan, everything was too late. The moment he was about to open his mouth to explain, Tsunade had already clenched her fist, ready to demolish everything in front of her.
" No need to explain anymore, Dan. I know it.."
BOOM!!!!!!!!!
Tsunade's fist hit the cel, which created a huge shock. The cell then broke down, and her fist continued to slam toward Dan's face, killing him in one blow.
The feeling of betrayal was just too much for her to handle, and if she didn't kill Dan with her own hand, she definitely wouldn't be able to move on.
Important things to note, this Tsunade was not the weak blood phobia Tsunade, but instead, the Tsunade that had just come through a bloody war. Murder and Massacre was not anything new to her, so adding one more person to her list would not hurt.
Still, it would be a lie if she said her heart was not hurt by the betrayal.
She tried to look calm on the outside, but she was actually breaking down inside.
She walked toward Chisaki and Ebizo, and while trying to be polite, she said to them that she needed some time alone now and the negotiation would be left for later before she flashed away to a place no one knew where.
Left on the side with Dan's corpse, Ebizo was horrified.
However, he was not horrified with the scenery of Dan's corpse. But instead, he was horrified by Chisaki.
In the scenario that happened just now, it was like all was under Chisaki's control, and if everything went according to what he wanted, Konoha would on lose one of its Kage-level Powerhouse.
" Kid.. just who are you.."
" What do you mean, Ebizo-sama? I'm Chisaki, eight years old and an inhabitant of Suna."

Later that day, in a cave outside of Suna, Tsunade was crying hard.
For her, this betrayal didn't only mean that she had lost her fiancee, but also her everything.
She had lost all her family before, and now her ex-fiancee told her that everything was just a plot of the Hokage.
In fact, it was very good if she could stay sane after all of this.
Tsunade's eyes were lifeless as she had cried for a few hours, but suddenly she heard a sound from outside.
Tsunade was a bit cautious as she was aware of the fact that she was not in Konoha. She put Chakra on her hand and was ready to ambush the enemy, but soon, she realized that it was just a small kid.
The kids looked no older than seven years old, but what caught Tsunade by surprise was the look in the kid's eyes.
It was the same as her, the looks of someone that had lost everything in his life.
Tsunade stood there quietly as she observed the kid, and just like her, the kid only took a seat while admiring the scenery of the setting sun in the desert.
A few minutes passed by, and the atmosphere was very silent, but in the end, Tsunade decided to break the ice first.
" Kid, what are you doing here? To be in this place even after so late, won't your parents be worried for you?"
" Ah.. I'm sorry. I don't know there is another person here. But for that question... I don't have someone like that anymore... My parents had already passed away in the previous war.."
